Irene went without any resistance, knowing that there was no point in fighting. When she was thrown into a cell to be taken to the Gulag and there was a dead body in there, she let out a faint gasp, but she had seen so much death already recently that it didn't seem to bother her as much as it would normally seeing a dead body. When the guard mentioned the journey would be 8 hours and she had to be with a rotting dead corpse for that long, she let out a sigh but didn't say anything. "Ugh" She said in response to the smell after the door was shut, but she did her best to try and just pay the smell no mind. Which of course wasn't that easy. She moved over towards the unconscious boy and shook him, trying to wake him up and make sure he was okay, and she was hoping that maybe she would at least have someone to talk to on the journey there, if he was okay that is. If not, she would probably just try and find some way to sleep or something. The key word being try.
Everyone Else Seeing as Björgólfur and Klause were used to this crap by now, they didn't seem to react to any of it much at all. Or at least pretended not to be very affected by it. But really, they were used to it so they weren't as affected as some of the others may of been, like Irena if she was here. Though Irena seemed to be dealing with everything surprisingly well for what she had seen in her life already. At least, she acted strong for a while, but there were definitely times when she had issues with everything she has witnessed in the last few months. Still, she was good at covering it up and was much stronger about it all then a lot of people would be.
Of course, the both of them were rather pissed off inwardly, especially Klause since he seemed to be that kind of guy who got pissed off easy, but none of them showed it and it was clear that they both had experience with tolerating this stuff.

Irena When Irena shook the 12 year old short boy he snapped awake in an instant immediately shielding himself and crying out "Zepplien Citizen Gerald 20028, Citizenship Number 122228, Junior Ministry of Science Number 34829!" clearly scared and in his own way asking for mercy from who he assumed were his captors. After a few seconds of quivering in fear he peaked out from behind his hands, looking at Irena with fear from behind his black eyes. He took another few seconds to register "You aren't a Hegemony Citizen." and cowering less, still looking scared of her, and sliding towards a corner, his back towards the wall, and his jet black hair hiding one of his eyes.
The Comisar The Comisar looked slightly disipointed in Ghost and walked forward for a moment saying "I read files on all of you, I hear the other prisoners call you Ghost. Such a pretty name, it really suits you." for a moment she looked like she was flirting before she spun around, and brought her pistol butt into Ghost's cheek. She then fired a shot into the air and yelled "Back to work! Double shifts for Ghost's backtalk." she then took a moment to talk to her guards before music started to fill the whole Gulag "Arise ye workers from your slumber, arise ye prisoners of want. The Earth will rise on new foundations..." a favorite song of Zepplien, one of the only foreign songs given the OK by the Zepplien Ministry of Information.

"Thanks, but it's not supposed to be 'pretty'," Ghost said, clearly not going for the whole flirty thing. She put her hand on her cheek after the Comisar hit her, glaring at her but not seeming to respond much more then that. She twitched when she fired a shot in the air, then secretly flipped her off when she gave people extra work. She didn't blame herself for it, she only blamed the Comisar, so she didn't feel bad. She wished she had earmuffs when the music started playing, then headed off to get back to work.
(Rick) After they were told to get back to work, Rick frowned. He didn't know what he was supposed to be doing, having just got there not long ago.

When the young boy jolted awake and started acting like he was protecting himself from being beat, Irena put her hands into the air and started hurriedly saying, "I'm not going to hurt you! I'm not going to hurt you, calm down". She frowned sadly at the poor frightened boy, waiting for him to calm down. She shook her head in response to the boy saying she wasn't a Hegemony Citizen. "I'm Polish" She told him, her polish accent even more obvious then normal when she said she was Polish. As he appeared to be calming down some but still seeming scared, she headed towards the wall near him but not too close to him to avoid scaring him too much. She kept her hands in the air to try and show him that she meant no harm, and eventually she got to the wall and leaned against it with a sigh. There were still things that hurt on her, too, but she couldn't imagine what the boy next to her probably felt like.
"What are you in for?" Irena asked him, trying to start some sort of conversation.
Everyone Else Björgólfur and Klause seemed surprisingly not bothered by the gunshot being fire into the air, but that could easily just be because Björgólfur and been in war in his life and Klause was also used to it all. Ignoring the music and Klause trying to pretend he wasn't bothered by the double shifts, they both headed off to work, though Björgólfur stopped short when he realized someone didn't seem to know what they were doing.
Meanwhile, some other random person shoved into Ghost as they handed back to work, but didn't particularly have much effect on making her fall over into the snow like he wanted to do. "Thanks a lot, jerk" He said to her, shooting her a glare and then wandering off towards wherever they were currently working at.
Björgólfur "You need help?" Björgólfur asked Rick, giving him a bit of a smile. "Come on, I'll show you what to do. Just follow me" He said to him, giving him a friendly smile again and starting to walk towards their work. Of course, he kept his voice low, since he wasn't really allowed to talk and all. If Rick followed, he said a simple "My names Björgólfur", and then said "Don't speak to me if you can help it. I don't want you to get in trouble for speaking. Just nod or shake your head"

Gerald The young Zep seemed to just watch the polish girl from behind his hair, before brushing it over his ear. He frowned a little as she asked what he was in for "High treason against the glorious Hegemony of Zepplien." he then turned and looked almost desperate "I told the Comisar it wasn't ready though, I swear I did, he wouldn't listen though, it makes no sense." he then realised he probably wouldn't make any sense and explains "I was building a version of a rocket launcher round that could launch a small cluster of infrared paint projectiles. However, I was working on the exhaust systems, they just weren't ready. He tried to fire and it exploded, as the only person working on this project I was thrown in a Gulag." just how he talked revealed a few things about Zeps, one is that they were dangerously smart, given how he was only 12 and by no means a scientific prodigy. The other is how milliterised the society was that 12 year olds would be working with rocket launchers instead of potato batteries or something like that. The final thing is how brainwashed they were, calling the Hegemony glorious even after being given a basic death sentence.
A Guard Romanova 40098 leaned against the entrance to the mines, watching the prisoners and holding her AK lazily, knowing even if a prisoner grabbed it and killed her that they would die before they could threaten the Hegemony. She was feeling kinda crummy today, her rations were cut almost in half, and she already had only two meals a day. She felt hungry. She saw the old man walking along and... Her eye twitched a little, he was talking to the other prisoner, no doubt planning escape. She walked towards them, stumbling a little because of the thick snow and general lack of food even the guards were given. She knew the prisoners were scrawny, and Hell some looked like skeletons, but if she took off her thick wool uniform she knew she would be as thin as half of them. She walked up to the old man, grabbing him by his collar "What the fuck do you think you are doing?" she asks him before looking around, noticing no other guards she hopes she could either cut a deal for some of the prisoner rations, or, at least take out her anger.
Ghost Sekai hurried up to ghost as they walked and immediately asks "What in the name of Kami-sama were you thinking? She could have shot you, or tortured you." her voice filled with concern for ghost's safety, not anger at the extra work, or even concern for herself when talking. She just didn't want someone she considered a friend to get hurt.

Ghost ignored the asshole, letting him off with nothing more then a rebellious glare. When Sekai came over and started talking, she put her finger to her lips, looking worried. She stayed silent until they were back in the mines, then she said,"I don't care. I'm not going to bow to them out of fear," She said rebelliously. "You should be more careful talking outside of the mines. You're just a kid, the monsters, I don't want you to get hurt."
(Rick) Rick simply followed Björgólfur without a word. When Björgólfur spoke again, Rick just kind of looked at him, a frown on his face that never really went away anymore. He suddenly took a step back, away from Björgólfur when the guard came over. He hunched his shoulders and wrung his hands together, frowning and looking scared.

Irene gave her full attention to listening to Gerald, keeping silent for a while while he spoke. "So in other words he knew it wasn't ready and launched it anyway, then blamed it on you. Asshole" She said, shaking her head slightly and slumping against the wall a bit more then she was already. "I'm in for stealing from someones shop. I just wanted to eat....I was starving" She said, letting off a sigh. "In fact that happened today. I even offered to give the food back to the store clerk when he caught me if he just let me go, but he instead threw me here to do Gulag work for a very long time. All because I wanted to eat!" She said, and it sounded like she was frustrated. "Then these guys blame me for something I didn't do to make my sentence look worse" She said, shaking her head. "It has been a rough few weeks...." She said, looking at the ground and seeming sad, probably because she was thinking about her family. At that point after unintentionally rambling about her own problems, she just fell silent and looked sad.
Björgólfur The first thing Björgólfur did, even after being grabbed, was to make sure Rick got out of there. He gave a glance towards him and waved him on to leave. "Follow the others to the mine. Hurry" He said before even answering the person who had grabbed him by his collar. "Don't get involved" He added. And then he looked the guard straight in the face, getting ready to answer their question. "I was offering to help Rick settle in and show him how things are done around here. Like the details of how to mine, where to go, and that sort" He said, and nothing about his voice or expression indicated he was lying, and he seemed to remain completely calm throughout it all. It was probably helped by the fact that he wasn't lying, but he was a fairly good liar anyway. Not that he particularly believed the truth mattered here, but still. His remaining calm was from being in the military. He had learned to remain calm and level-headed through big gunfights, so he figured he should be able to stand up to some guard with ease.
