Beach, Alan Alan glanced up at Leslie, and offered him a slightly lopsided smile "I'm ok, I was an only child, used to being lonely." he smiled at him, then let his eyes wonder to the waves "I could help with an obstacle coarse is you wanted." he looked down at the map when he was asked what he was playing and smiled as he offered "Just, role playing." sighing contently as he shifted himself to lay on the beach. He smiled to himself as he rubbed his face in the lukewarm sand, looking over at Jenna when Leslie pointed it out to him, then smiled at her "It is nice to see her happy, she has a pretty smile." He rolled over on his back and looked up at Leslie, putting his hands behind his head as he did, he then asked "Leslie, do you ever think... We could spend the rest of our lives here, on this little island. We might never go back to our homes again..." he didn't sound particularly sad about the fact as he laid back, looking over the beach and the slow waves. He smiled a little as he said "I could think of worse places to die, eh?" his voice sounding a little melancholy, but overall pretty content, despite his impending situation.
Alex Alex smiled slowly at Abby, quickly getting onto the surfboard as Abby instructed. She smiled a bit at her as she adjusted herself around until she was fully on the surfboard, then let out a beaming smile as she stabilized on top of it, looking like a cat on a surfboard with how tight her muscles became as she kept still on the surfboard. She then thrust one fist into the air, letting out a little cry of triumph, before the sudden movement threw her balance off, and her overcompensation only served to throw her into the water practically on top of Abby.

Simon continued tickling Jenna for a while, but eventually he decided it was a good idea to stop before she wet herself or something. Sitting back, he plopped in to the sand. "It's nice to hear you laugh," He said, smiling as he lay back in the warm sand. Suddenly he sneezed twice out of nowhere, due to staring up at the bright sunny sky. He didn't want to admit it, but he liked it here. It was quiet, peaceful. No need to worry about cops or anything like that. If only he were alone, then he wouldn't have to worry about hurting anyone, and would be at peace for once. Maybe if rescue came, he would stay here after everyone else left. He wondered what Jenna would think of that. Would she be sad? Would she understand. He stared up at the sky as he thought about it, his eyes squinting against the light. Of course, he wouldn't be entirely alone, seeing as the french woman and whoever took her daughter would most likely still be here, but chances are he could just avoid them.
He closed his eyes and just relaxed in the sand, perfectly content right now. It had been a long time since he could just relax, and it felt good. Come to think of it, had he ever been able to relax? He had been on the run since he killed his parents when he was like, four. He wasn't even entirely sure how he had managed to survive as a four year old out on the streets. No point in thinking about it now. Now it was time to relax and be at peace.

Leslie "That's up to you" Leslie responded to Alan's comment saying that he would help him if he wanted him to. "I won't make anyone help if they don't want to" He continued. He gave a nod of his head in response to him saying that he was role playing. "I used to roleplay sometimes" He said, but didn't really say any more on the topic. When Alan mentioned that it was nice to see Jenna smile because she had a pretty smile, he blushed faintly. "The saddest people usually do" He replied, blushing even more at his words. God he was ridiculous when it came to talking about girls he thought were cute. As they moved away from that subject, and went onto the next, he let out a sigh. "Yeah, kinda...But I'm sure a plane will find us eventually..." He looked like he had his doubts about that with how weird this island seemed to be. It could have it's own freaking personal shield as far as he knew, which kept out any radar detection, and maybe obscured it from existence period. He knew he sounded ridiculous, but with the things he had seen since he got here, nothing really surprised him anymore. "If...If we can never get back, I'm sure we can find some way to make a home for ourselves here, beyond what we have already done" He said.
Jenna Jenna was relieved when Simon stopped tickling her, as much as she was happy to be feeling...well, happy, and to be smiling from something natural. She could only take the tickling for so long before it became annoying instead of enjoyable. She smiled at Simon saying it was nice to hear her laugh. "It's nice to hear myself laugh" She commented back to him, glancing in his way and then following him with laying back into the sand, staring up at the bright sky. She ended up falling into silence for a while, staring at the sky, but not really thinking all that much herself. However, she did turn her head in Simon's direction, seeing that he appeared to be in deep thought about something she could only imagine what it would be.
"It's strangely relaxing here, isn't it?" Jenna commented to Simon, noticing how relaxed he seemed to be, and how relaxed she felt right now. And happy for the time being. "You're thinking about something, aren't you?" She asked. It seemed like she asked that question more out of wanting to talk about something more so than wanting to know what he was thinking about. Though there was a bit of curiosity in that regard, but she wasn't the type to want to be intrusive on peoples personal thoughts if they wanted to keep it to themselves.
Abby "You got it!" Abby said excitedly, though didn't want to make her too overly happy and make her get distracted and off balance. But sadly, from the looks of it, she had that covered on her own. As soon as she saw Alex cheering, she knew it was a bad idea, and was about to tell her she shouldn't do that before she fell off balance, when she fell off the surfboard and almost on top of her. All she did in response to it was started laughing wholeheartedly, not at all bothered by the situation, especially since she managed to avoid being crushed in the water.
"Yeah, I don't recommend cheering on top of a surfboard!" Abby laughed, and smiled brightly. "You did great. Ready to try again?" She asked Alex, looking ready to continue on with teaching her, and hoping that Alex wasn't ready to give up just yet. After falling, it was always best to get right back up and try again.

Alan "Well, with an infection, I don't think I could be of too much help in building it, but I could provide some company." Alan said, a small smile on his face at just being included in the group activity. As much as he acted like he didn't care, like he was purely wishing to rule over them, he cared deeply for the group of people he had been paired with, and to see that care repaid helped lift his spirits. His eyes turned to Leslie again as he spoke of Jenna "She is a pretty girl Leslie, you should be glad to see her happy." the scarlet blush not washing over his cheeks as they did his friend. His own mind raced at just that thought, was Leslie truly his friend, could he be loyal enough, and caring enough for them to be friends. He offered a small nod to Leslie "It would be a shame to make a life here, but we could. I sacrificed my whole childhood to get education, or money, or both. Do you think it would be ironic to trap someone who has spent their whole life trying to prepare themselves for society on a societyless island?" his eyes watching the sand of the beach blowing gently with the breeze, and the waves crashing endlessly into the shore.
Alexandra Alex laughed openly at her own failure, smiling at Abby as she complimented her horrible attempt at getting on the surfboard. Every moment with Abby, every laugh, helping to crush down the memories she found so painful, the knives under the surface of her mind that would impale her the second she got the chance. For now though, she was happy, smiling, even as that could change if the breeze brought a whiff or sound of the Hostiles that took her whole life in one fell swoop. She did her best to climb atop the surfboard, so happy to have a goal for once that did not make her murder or torture, but instead only made joy. As she once more climbed atop the surfboard she wore only a melodramatic stern look on her face before she smiled at Abby once more "I am on top for once, I feel like Queen of the World." her eyes looking out to the endless blue waves in front of them.
