War has occurred, back doors in computer networks on the base code that all GPF, Commonwealth, Hegemony, and Space Pirate ships insured the war came with almost no cost to the enemy. As the opening attack wiped out entire fleets of warships without a single shot fired in defence people scrambled to find a solution, and found out too late that by rewriting only a few lines of binary they could fix the problem. Sadly the warships and civilian fleets had been all but wiped out. The galaxy lay in ruin as the final blows were dealt, atomic strikes to every major population center on every world. From Earth to Suriso, to Bloodlust, and Dal Shalgar atomic fire consumed everything anyone held close and dear. The massive ships that attacked do not seem to be much better than other ships in frontline combat, and as such it is known only their surprise and computer virus allowed them to win.
The Rag Tag Fleet
Population: 126,873 people
Ships: 143 starships
(Note these numbers will change through the RP, every death and ship lost will be taken into account.)
Warships:
GPF Mothership
Neptunian Cruiser Hakana
AssortedPirate fighter squadrons now based upon GPF Mothership.
Important ships around the fleet:
Agro ships: Hunan Maru, Ginsu Maru, Formosa Maru
Prison ships: Unyielding Glory (Hegemony), and Geneva (GPF)
Mining Ships: Castro IV, Kin'iro Maru, Detroit, Mining ship 1092
Water storage ship: Baka Maru
The fleet composition consists of ships from every known area in space, minus that of the Trade Federation. The Hegemony allied factions have now banded together under the Hegemony to save them. The Lunans, Venusians, and Plutoians have all been taken under the wing of the Neptunians. The other races of the galaxy (non Hegemony) have turned themselves to the GPF, and as usual the space pirates stand alone in the field of politics in the fleet. Very few GPF, and Commonwealth soldiers survived, most giving their seats to civilians and loved ones rather than keep them, however the Hegemony and Pirates are opposites, they have a great deal of troops. Riots are also just starting to break out on civilian ships, some calling for them to turn and fight, others to run, others to downright surrender.
Surrender to this enemy is a very bad idea, the Hegemony tried that and were blown to Hell anyway.
