Tokyo, Capital of the The Quint Species Co-Prosperity Sphere, Tsuki (January) 1665 Tete Bin Hamad slithered along, watching the other ministers, representatives of the Lamia Republics, Haikala Empire, Neko Technocracy, the Akuma Principalities, and Vika Hives. The ministers were all stiff as their leader shouted at them "How did we let this happen?! The British Empire discovers a new continent, and I only hear about it when my daughter sends me a newspaper article from Oxford. We have our dominion here, but we need to expand to new lands if only too keep our enemies from getting them." the Haikala stood up and turned her sword to the side and gripped it with both hands "We are ready to take land, for the glory of Japan! We will insure that the best lands are ours. Banzai!" she then pulled out her Katana and said "Let me atone for my dishonour of failing to provide this information." she then plunged the sword into her own guts, quickly collapsing in a pool of her own blood. Their leader looked unsurprised at this display, over all the Haikala were stupidly obsessed with honour, luckily that made them absolutely fantastic officers and soldiers. Of course their minister would be killed anyway if she didn't kill herself, so it actually didn't reflect on their society as much as most thought it did. A Neko minister, an old man with grey hair including that on his ears, stood and told them "I will draw up colonization plans for their best areas once we have scouting reports." he looked at the Lamia and Akuma, waiting for them the volunteer scouts. The Akuma shrugged saying "We don't like water, and we have our best scouts active against the Emirates to our west. I suggest the Lamia do this one." the Lamia representative nodded and said "We will deploy our finest scouts with the Haikala naval units that will be sent to scout. I'm sure a unit of Vika marines will protect them." the Vika nodded and said "The Hives will comply." the Hegemon nodded and informed them "Make it so, the Hegemony will no be left behind in this 'North America' as the British call it.
Lead Ship Tone, Pacific ocean, 1665 The Haikala captain stood proud in her uniform, watching fish swim by from the view of her cabin. She felt the movement of the sails as their course was adjusted, listening to the wood gently creak. She watched a Neko scientist walk in and said "Sit, sir, sit." the Neko bowed, and sat accordingly. He laid out a map for the Haikala captain, and she slowly looked it over, then pointed to a spot, and informed the Neko "Tell your men to land here, we shall call it Furanshisuko (San Francisco) and call the province Kariforunia (California)." the Neko nodded quickly and said "Once we land I will send word back to Tokyo about these islands, I think they are ripe for colonization, and it would serve as a perfect point for our ships to dock." she pointed to the Hawaiian islands. "Until then the fleet will continue forward."
Furanshisuko, Tsuki 1666 Vika milled around, moving logs to construct houses. The natives around were mostly friendly, to the luck of the Hegemony, and were able to set up simply trade deals, supporting them with modern medicine in exchange for crops, and meat. They raised their flag above the small town, signifying that this area belonged to the Hegemony, and would not yield to any other power. Two of their ships had left for the mainland of Japan once more, to inform them of successful colonization, and of the islands in the pacific. Neko surveyors also began determining that this area was ripe with resources, fertile farmland, whales, and large fresh water streams. This place would be considered a paradise by any major power, so they had also quickly placed an order for more soldiers to protect it.
Hegemony summary -New colony established in San Francisco -Hegemony lays claim to west coast and Hawaii
Other nations summary -British establish colonies in Virginia, and Carolina -Dutch establish colonies in New York, and Maine -Germans establish Colonial control over Mexico (Now named Bremen) -Russians invade Poland, war is not going well for them

Norway, 1665 The five leaders gathered in the building they held their meetings in. A meeting had been called by Synne, the Peixe leader. She floated in a tank that was attached to a canal running from the ocean, specifically made so that she could get there. The meeting hall itself was fairly close to the ocean, so she didn't have to swim super far to get there. "I have called this meeting because I have heard news from my people that the British Empire has discovered a new continent," She informed them, resting her arms and head on the edge of the tank. Ashstar sat atop a raised chair, so he was level with everyone else. "I assume you have called us here to debate whether or not we should try to get some new land in this new continent," He said, his voice a mixture between a kind of hissy human voice, and a purr. "Yes," Synne replied, turning her gaze to the other leaders. The other leaders glanced at each other,"I don't even think this was worth calling a meeting over, other then to inform us. I think it would be foolish not to try to claim some land," Zippora said, running a hand over one of her wolf ears. Kiseenaji nodded in agreement, but Skeeme said,"Perhaps it is best to leave it to the others, we have enough land," in his rough, grating voice. Everyone else looked at him like he was insane, so he gave up and went along with it. "Good, then it's settled," Synne said,"I will have some of My People head over there with a few ships to start colonization. It will take time, but hopefully we will have new land within the next two years." Everyone else nodded, then started doing leadery stuff to get ready, and to deploy scout ships and whatnot.
Lead colonization ship, 1665 A Peixe captain pulled herself on to the ship with a ladder that was put into the sea for this very reason. She had been called by the Firfirsle captain and the Katt second in command(Or whatever it's called on ships) to talk about land. The Peixe tediously dragged herself ungracefully across the deck, trying not to get to many splinters. She managed to get to the cabin, and pulled herself on to a chair that was by a small, round, table. The captain and second in command both sat there already. The Katt, who's name was Brightheart, was sitting on the table. One side of her face was hideously scarred, and her eye was missing. Some random deckhand came and put a map in front of them. "Jaevla, so much land," the Katt said, and the Firfirsle nodded,"Let's hope we don't need to fight off to many people," He said. After a bit of staring at the map, Brightheart touched her paw to the Florida area. "This would be a good place, I think. Lots of water for the Peixe, lots of land for the other races," She said. The Peixe captain nodded,"I think my people will like it there. We will have to hope it's not already taken." The Firfirsle pointed to a spot on Forida," We will land here. I vote to name it Miami," Both of the others nodded,"And the province will be called Florida," Again, they both nodded. "Now that we are in agreement, we will set our course for Florida," the Peixe said, smiling.
Miami, 1666 The different races milled around, building houses and stores and stuff like that. The Katt helped the least, due to their size, but they still did some work. A lot of the Katt had headed out to make Clans around Florida, and to explore and chart the land. They were on good terms with the natives, and helped them, if they wanted help, in return for supplies or assistance. Two Geta were putting up a Federation Sidra flag in the center of the town. In the water, off the short, the Peixe were also working on a town, making it out of supplies found in the sea, rather then wood and stuff like that....because wood wouldn't exactly work well for underwater cities. The Federation Sidra had also sent out ships back to Norway, and had requested more troops, as a precaution.
The Federation Sidra summary Now colony in Miami. The Federation lays claim to Florida, and the water around it.

Iceland, 1665 A gathering of various leaders came to the capitol, which was situated in Reykjavik Iceland. These people represented Iceland, France, and Congo. Though, most of the people there were Icelandic, because traveling to Iceland for this meeting to talk about somewhere far away was a rather tedious trip. The ones from France and Congo were the ones that typically stayed at Iceland anyway, they just helped with France and Congo. They were to discuss these rumors about new land, and try to stake their own claim of land. Of course there would be disagreements on actions.
Wendel Weedhill sat upon his chair, watching his representatives as they got ready to speak about what they would be doing with this land grab. The representative for France was named Francis Moreau, who was a Marteau. The representative for Iceland, not the leader of France, Congo, and Iceland, was named Sigurður Þórarinsson, who was a Klo Hond, and the most hotheaded of them all. The representative for Congo was Peirre Durand, who was a Narwog that just went with a French name. There were also others for each of the the races, along with a bunch of other less important people, but they don't have a reason to all be named.
"We have heard about the discovery of this new land mass. There are land grabs going up all over the place for this land from the sounds of the rumors, and I believe it would be in our best interests for us to stake our own claim of land from this world. What do all of you think?" Wendel Weedhill said, leaning in his chair with his fingers together.
Peirre Durand spoke next, still not used to talking to his leader that was like, 5 feet shorter then him. "I agree. I say we set out at once for this land, and take claim to some territory. Hopefully, if we are all headed there at the same time for land, nobody starts killing each other instantly" He said, seeming thoughtful and going over to the next guy, with the hard to pronounce Icelandic name.
Sigurður Þórarinsson spoke up to add his own. "I also agree. We could use some leverage in new territory. And what is a little battle? A battle would just prove who rightfully deserves the land. I say we set out at once" He said, crossing his arms.
Meanwhile, Francis Moreau decided to ignore Sigurður Þórarinsson's chat about not caring if they fought, and said, "Land means good. As long as we Marteau get water, we shall be good. Deal?", and the others nodded.
There were a few protests against it by the representative of the Asari, and even the Eola, but overall everyone agreed that it was a good idea, and in the end, someone from all the races, along with a bunch of others, set out for their claim of land.
Sea, 1665 Currently, all the important people, including Wendel Weedhill, were on one ship, discussing plans of how they would start off. They didn't exactly know what the land they were taking claim to would look like, but right now they were coming up with the best plan to make their first city that would be combining a little bit of every single race. They pretty much decided they would each have their own section of town, but that they would all share with each other. It would likely be an interesting mix going on. Maybe even have some architects combine all of their different architecture designs together to design one building. The best plan for that would be on their first church they built. Either way, this would be the city with the most of all the races in one city together, and it would be great.
A while later, they finally hit landfall, and took claim to their land.
New Orleans, 1666 The town they had decided to be built here had been decided that it would be the most diverse city of them all. It was the first city (or going to be a city one day) where the populations of all the races were about equal to each other, with the exception of Klo Hond's, who mostly refused to even come to claim some new land. There would likely be districts inspired by each and every one of the races. One for the shark people on the water, an area that was underground, and so on. But all of this was in early stages. Very early stages to be exact. Due to the location, that they decided to make the city at instead of say, a little more west or a little more east, or a little more inland, they had to make levee's to keep major water out of. Their main concern was big downpours and other freak weather patterns like that that may rise the water and flood their city. The people they made in charge of the levee's were the Marteau, because they were the most advanced in their levee designs. They got help from the others, of course. This took a rather long time to create, however, and by this time, their town had only just begun the major construction of different sections of it, and was probably smaller then the other peoples cities they were starting. Specifically, they were working on the Church of Mirrorian in the towns center, to worship their mirror world and God. They decided to name the town New Orleans, and the surrounding areas Louisiana.

Seattle, Washington, Hegemonic Colony, 1770 Vika soldiers in red military dress ran along behind a Haikala in military uniform, the soldiers each had a standard smoothbore musket, and the officer had a smoothbore pistol, along with a sword. They were responding to gunfire along the wall to the city, along with screams from the outside. The gate guard called out to them "Natives! Natives!" the Vika lined up in two rows of ten, the first row kneeling and aiming, with the other standing and aiming. The officer cried out "Ute!" meaning fire in her native tongue. A bullet flew out of each musket, ripping into the horde of attacking natives. The officer drew her sword and calmly said "Fix bayonets!" the soldiers did as ordered. She then gave her reload orders "Powder 2..3..4, Ram 2..3..4, Ball 2..3..4, Ram 2..3..4, Cock 2..3..4.. Fire!" the Vika soldiers executed the commands perfectly, and had taken 40 seconds to reload each rifle. The native people were shot again, but they had more numbers than the Vika had ammo. Already forces had been called from the local forts, and the Natives knew that. They slaughtered the Vika, along with some of the city citizens, though the Vika/Haikala forces drove them back with ease once they arrived from their forts. The damage had been done, and though the regional governor was not killed, a great deal of citizens were, and that was enough to piss off the Hegemony.
Tokyo, Capital of the Hegemony A Haikala major was hurled across the room by their new leader, a brutal Haikala Admiral who was known for her uncharacteristic brutality. She drew a short sword and dropped it next to the Major "You know what you must do, amend yourself for the dishonour you have caused." the Major stabbed the sword into her own abdomen, which was followed by the new leader saying "Die with honour." before walking back toward the other leaders of the Hegemony. She looked over a map and said "We must immediately order more troops into our colonies, they must be secured from native aggression. I believe the only way to do this is to wage a propaganda war. Until these attacks stop we round up random natives and we execute them, publicly. We get their chiefs, and we execute them, publicly. Show them that we are not the pathetic Federation Sidra, we are the Haik- Hegemony armed forces." the other representatives hesitantly approved, other than the Vika, we agreed with the random executions to put fear into the natives.
New York A former Hegemony Haikala mercenary took a step back from a growing crowd, her grey uniform soaked with fearful sweat. She raised her sword and said "Fire, fire you fools." a mixed group of Humans, Gata, Asari, and Kig Yar who all wore grey uniforms fired smoothbore muskets at the protesters. There were screams as a British officer rushed over to order them to stop. An unfortunate protester fired a pistol at the lines and hit the officer. A person called for a doctor, claiming that "The Admiral has been shot!" a protester called out "The first of many, we will fight for the freedom of British America!" he smiled as people cheered him. The young American born Lobo was named Washington, and he was ready to die for his freedom.
Hegemony Summary -Hegemony begins random executions of natives. -Hegemony ship Kobiashi Maru becomes first ship to travel from Japan to France without stopping, Hegemony and Eversun celebrate. -The Nippon East India Trading Company establishes new trade route between Cuba and Japan, rum drinkers and cigar smokers of the Hegemony rejoice.
World Summary -American Revolution begins, is currently recognised by the Germans, Russians, and Dutch as the official government of British America. -Germany and Russia enter into non aggression treaties -Ottoman Empire, and Persian Empire join forces against the Holy Roman Empire supplied by the British Empire -The Swiss Confederation invades Luxenburg
