The Cordeer K-12 School was starting up it's next year of education. The school was thriving with students as always. It was a rather large school, and could house thousands of students, along with educating even more. The rooms could house 2 students each, and were rather nice as far as dormitories went. As far as schools went, they were rather accepting of males rooming with females, or vice versa, and it was perfectly fine for a girl and boy to be in the same dorm room as each other. Even with them being rather laid back about this rule, the school still managed to have a rather low pregnancy rate. It happened, but a lot less then some schools that actually had where they weren't allowed to room together. If it was because of their good sex education classes, or if it was just because they had smart students was hard to tell.
Shortly after everyone gets into the school, they were directed to go to the cafeteria, which was rather large. It was very well-lit, roomy place. The ceilings were quite high, which helped make it feel more roomy. Everyone in the school ages 10 and up would dine in this room, which was thousands of people so that was why the room was rather large. The kids 9 and under were all in a separate, rather large room. They figured that the kids 9 and under didn't really want to be in the room full of hormonal teenagers and tweens, and also figured that due to the conversations that may take place in the 10 and up place, that was another reason. The cafeteria, not on the side with the stage, looked outside to the courtyard. Which you could walk out of the cafeteria and onto the courtyard too.
The school had all sorts of various things, from fencing lessons, swimming, chess, martial arts, modeling, and so on. Unlike most American schools, which they openly despised, they allowed you to choose the classes you preferred to focus on. Like if you wanted to do math, you could spend all day in math if you so chose. You obviously had to choose at least SOMETHING, because there would be no point in being in class. A fair amount of people tended to choose a couple of the normal day classes, while choosing something else like chess, fencing, or swimming.
Today the President was attending the first day of school, like he did every year. The cafeteria had a stage in front of all the seats, which was where school plays occurred, and obviously the President gave his speech. Which was where he was standing now, but he seemed to be talking to his other Administrators and body guards, which were armed with batons and had no signs of any guns on them. If anything went awry, they'd probably just beat the shit out of whoever attacked him...which whoever attacked him would likely be caught from being suspicious rather quickly anyway, due to no guns being in the country, as far as they knew.
{April} April sighed as she sat down in the cafeteria. She hoped that this school would be better then the last boarding school she had been 'sent' to. The last one was one of Corrian's more "American" schools, as the Corrian government liked to refer to them as. The school had bullies, stupid teachers, and everything a crappy school could have. She hated it, and was glad when she finally got out of there.
She never knew her parents, or even her last name. She was just sent from foster home to foster home through her life, and finally get fed up with it. Once she was fed up, she tried to go to a boarding school. That boarding school had turned out to be shit, and now she was here, pretty much lying her way in to the school. Though, to her satisfaction, everything was free so she didn't have to fake a job or something.
So here she was, her head in her hands on the cafeteria table, facing the President. She had never seen the President in person, and it was kind of rather cool. Though she didn't seem to pay him much mind, and seemed more sad then anything. She just waited patiently for his speech, whatever the speech would be. She just hoped it wasn't some bullshit propaganda to try to gain support for himself by brainwashing the 'children' into video for him when they were older. Though, from what she had heard about the president, that seemed rather unlikely to her.
{Olivia} Olivia had been brought here by her parents, but they had left to go home now. They both had work, and 'secretly' were kind of happy to get Olivia off of their hands for now. She didn't really seem to care, and was rather happy to be staying at a boarding school for the time being. Mainly because she knew she could focus on her fencing classes a lot easier here, with easy access to the classes. And her hope was to get a teacher that would be more then willing to teach her beyond normal class time. It seemed she was rather devoted to the fencing 'career', and wanted at the young age of 11 to go professional with the sport. Which with a lot of the teachers here, they would find that awesome and make them their 'special' student. The school seemed to have a monthly 'best student' award for every single class, even the stupidest of ones like sex education. Upon hearing this, Olivia told her parents that she WILL become the student of the month in fencing, not that she would try.
She plopped down on a chair next to some random students, but didn't seem to pay them much mind due to her full attention being focused on the President. As she plopped down, there was the sound of clanking coming from her sword hitting the chair, or something like that. Some people turned their heads, but nobody seemed to really take any action or generally care. The President was sort of an idol to her, even though he never did fencing himself. Just she liked his policies, as far as her opinion on good policies could be at 11. The fact he visited this school was a plus, and made the education free so her parents could use their money for other things. Like buying her things.
{Edi} Edi walked into the cafeteria. His first thought was he hoped that during a class, some teacher wouldn't drop a book loudly in front of him. Which was a weird thing to think of as soon as you walk into the cafeteria. The reasoning behind this was his Amnesia. Likely the loud sound would make him forget the memories he had just created, and make him likely confused what he was doing in class anyway. Not being able to make new memories made it rather hard for him to learn anything, too. There was a reason why he carried a camera around everywhere.
He sat down at the cafeteria, next to an 11-year old girl. He gave her a quick wave and a smile, then focused on the President. The girl seemed to be paying a lot of attention to him, so he felt he didn't really need to talk to her right now. Not that he really cared to talk to a 11-year old girl. He'd rather get to know people his own age. If he could just remember them....
The reason for him having this Amnesia was from an incident a while back. His girlfriend and him were out on a walk and were attacked by some gang members, and his head was violently shoved into a brick wall. It had made his memory screwed up ever since. He remembered memories from before the incident, like his girlfriend. But any new memories didn't seem to work. He actually had no idea if his girlfriend was dead or alive, because he had never heard anything of the subject. His feelings made him think she was dead, but he didn't know that for a fact. In a way, he was hoping he'd just find her in this school or something, but the chances seemed slim.

Three titanic airships descended in a local clearing near the school. They had massive Hegemony flags on the tail and were clear indicators of the Hegemony wealth and power. They probably had enough firepower to wipe out the whole nation, given they probably didn't have any anti air weapons. Gustav stood overlooking the about 20 foot drop from the airship and gulped, he didn't want to jump, it was scary. His hesitation was met with a swift kick, and he went flying overboard. The fall wasn't deadly, but it hurt like hell. He looked back up at the airship firing up its engines and ascending to make a pass over the nation back to the boarder, it was escorted by Osprey VTOL helicopters, and a handful of jet aircraft. Gustav slowly stood up holding his back, he was still in pain from getting kicked, and hitting the ground both. He looked around, realising that this must be time for the president's speech. He was to deliver a diplomatic gift and a letter from their High Admiral.
He eventually found the cafeteria, having a map on him of the buildings. He clutched a gold plated AK-47 assault rifle, and walked, rather stiffly, toward the president. The gun was likely the first one many of the students had seen outside and movies. He watched the guards and moved an a way to show he was not a threat to the president. He then set the rifle in front of him and said, repeating himself in all 5 languages of the Hegemony "President Admiral, please accept this gift from the glorious Hegemony of Zepplien. We hope Marx shows you good favor as he has us." the admiral thing was a simple cultural barrier, all high ranking Zepplien officials being Admirals. He then handed him the letter and bowed to him. He didn't turn to leave, and simply backed up until he found himself a seat, oddly next to some girl who looked sad (April) and said "Glory to the Hegemony, our beloved leader, and Marx. May Marx bring the workers of the world together to bring the will of the people to bear on the Imperial Capitalist scum." oddly he said this in the way that said it was like saying 'hello' in other nations when meeting new people.
The letter to the president was very simple. To: Current Leader of the inferior nation of Corien (not a typo, just showing they don't care enough to even spell the name right) From: Beloved High Admiral Haskayne 90067, leader of the glorious Hegemony We with to inform you that if anything happens to our student while in your nation a state of war will exist between us, and the Hegemony will convert you into a puppet state to be used as the Hegemony wishes. That is all. As always we extend the the offer of becoming a client state in the Hegemony.

The students heard the sounds of the airships and were clearly confused. Thousands of heads turned to look outside for a sight of the airships, or whatever was making the noise. The reason this surprised them is because they swore that the President had banned air crafts....or at least big noisy polluting jets. Because the President was big on environmental stuff, and seemed to pretty much ban anything that would pollute in any way, even if it sort of brought the country to a halt sometimes. There was the sound of quite a lot of aircraft from what they could tell, and it was a bit frightening.
Once the sounds drowned out, everyone, including the President, seemed more relaxed. The President was still getting ready for a speech, but seemed more curious what the noise was. The President was actually going to accept students into their dorms and such today, just for the fun of it. And because the school let him. He liked to feel more 'connected' to the students, and wanted to try this.
A bunch of people turned in the direction of the lone student who seemed to show up rather late. There were quite a lot of gasps at the sight of the Ak-47, because they all knew too well that guns, or any weapons of any sort weren't allowed in the schools, or the country really. A couple of girls seemed to literally scream at the sight of the gun. Most people had seen guns, but in movies and video games. Corrian didn't go to the extreme to completely ban weapons in movies and games, so people still saw guns. A lot of people seemed ready to act if they had to, in case he tried anything. Even if he had a gun, a mob of thousands of students charging him would still likely not be good for him.
The guards went stiff at the sight of the Ak-47, and so did the president. The guards both clenched their Batons tighter, just in case they had to act. Corrian wasn't completely stupid though, and the guards did have bullet proof vests. They were relieved when the new student didn't seem to have any interest in using the AK-47, but they would definitely take it away from him later.
The president watched the student, and grumbled to himself. He never really liked Zepplien that much. That was the main nation that made him ponder creating a military, just to defend themselves. But he didn't like violence, and chose not to have a military still. If it came to it, he would probably create a military though. He just hoped they'd be peaceful. He didn't want any crap.
He took the letter, and started to read it. He didn't really care where the new student sat. Though he vaguely wondered if his name was even on the list of students here, since he just sort of showed up. He figured they had to of sent in an application for him at some point at least. As he read the letter, he scoffed at it, but not very loudly. Students were eying the new student suspiciously, and watching the President read the letter. The President literally felt like facepalming that Zepplien would go to war with them just if something happened to their student. That was WAY extreme in their opinion, but it did make him a little uncomfortable. He literally felt like tearing the letter into shreds, but didn't. At the last part, he just scoffed again and folded up the letter, then pocketed it.
{April} April wasn't one of the girls who screamed at the sight of the gun, but it did sort of freak her out. This new student seemed....odd, and a little crazy in her opinion. But she just watched him quietly, listening to him talk about the Hegemony.
When he ended up sitting next to her, she gave him a questioning look like she clearly didn't trust him. At his blabber to her, she just sort of stared at him like "I don't really give a shiz about what you just said". She really did feel like this guy was brain washed by his country. Though, she did kind of think Capitalism was scum. What she did was scoff at him, and said with a bit of a chuckle, "You are insane, you know that? I don't listen to brainwashed idiots". That was probably not the best thing to say, but she wasn't exactly in a great mood right now.
{Olivia} Olivia just stared at everything that happened, and was actually ready to be brave and 'stab' the new student with her rather 'dull' sword if she had to. Anything to defend the class if he just started firing on them for no reason. She wanted to be a brave little girl. But, of course, she just hoped everything would go well and be peaceful.
As she adjusted herself in her seat again, her sword made another loud clanking noise against her seat. A bunch of people turned their heads to face her again, and she looked a bit uncomfortable with all the eyes turned to her. The President, along with a few school officials, seemed to realize what was going on and started to panic. Not majorly, but they seemed a little....worried about an 11-year old girl with a sword.
The President looked over at Olivia, and asked, "Are you in possession of a weapon miss?", which Olivia responded by looking at the people staring at her....which was growing by the second, then to the president. "Yes, but-" She said, and was cut off by the Principal, "You know the rules young child. I am sure your parents told you about them. No weapons on school grounds, sword or gun". She started to speak some more, "Yeah, I know. But it's just a fencing sword! It's very dull. It's not like I could-" She said, and was cut off by the Principal again. "Dull or not, it's still a weapon and can be used to hurt people. You could poke someones eye out with it or jab them with it, and it would still hurt them". Olivia let out a sigh and said, "But how else am I supposed to join the fencing class? It's not like I can do fencing without a sword". The Principal looked at her again, and said, "We supply the swords in the class. You don't need your own sword". Olivia spoke again, and said, "But-", but was quickly cut off by the Principal again. "Guards, please take the sword away from her before she accidentally hurts someone with it".
With this, Olivia stood up as the guards started to walk over to her. The Presidents guards at that. The President didn't really seem to care to stop them either. She unsheathed her sword and placed it on the cafeteria table, then put her hands in the air and looked a little frightened at the guards coming towards her. "I have no weapons! Just take it! But please don't destroy it" She said, a pleading look in her eyes. It was a very important sword to her. Some people looked at Olivia like she was insane for being so obsessed with a stupid fencing sword, even April. Though April thought the school was also over reacting. So did Edi. The guards took the sword, and one of them walked off with it to the fencing class. After the guards were gone, Olivia let out a sigh and sat down again, and glared at the guards and President slightly. That made her respect for him go down a bit, because he was being kind of a jerk about it.
"Okay, now that we got that taken care of" The President began to say, clasping his hands together, "Lets get on with the introductions and such. As you all probably know, my name is Kuadongu" He said. A bunch of people nodded, while April just scoffed. She thought it sounded like he was named after a Chinese mountain or something, but she wasn't really sure why that was her first thought. The President shot her a glare, but continued, "I would like to welcome all of you, new and old to this here school. I hope you all have a great school year and that you all get great grades. It is my pleasure to be here to greet you all today".
Some of the kids clapped and cheered, but a lot of them seemed rather quiet. "Now, on to the 'sorting', or whatever you'd like to call it. I will be calling out your names and rooming you together with a fellow student in this school. I would highly recommend you give rooming with the particular roommate I choose for you a chance, but I will not complain if you eventually want to change roommates and choose someone else" He said. A lot of people looked at each other, thinking it was slightly weird that the President was choosing people to room with each other, but said nothing.
The President went through many names, because there was a LOT of people to sort. Some students seemed to be falling asleep, and some were fiddling with their silverware and such to entertain themselves. They hadn't brought the food out yet, so people couldn't eat while they waited.
"April Merryweather" The president said, and her attention went to the President. "You will be rooming with the newest student, who I haven't got the name of yet" He said. April seemed confused for a bit, until she realized he meant the guy sitting next to her. She quickly stood up and shouted, "WHAT?! Why him? Can't I room with someone else?". He shook his head at her, and said, "Someone has to room with him, and it will be you". She glared at the President and sat back down, then glared at Gustav. "You better not talk to me about your 'Hegemony' 24/7, or I am going to leave pretty quickly" She said bluntly, glaring at him still. She was FINALLY hoping for a good new school, but now it was ruined by, in her opinion at the moment, the new 'idiot' from the Hegemony of Zepplien.
The President continued with the names, and Octavia was roomed with some random boy her age, and Edi was roomed with some random boy his age. They didn't seem to have any protests, probably because they didn't know if their roommates were good or bad. They just accepted their roommates, and were fine with the decision. At least until they knew if their roommates were bad or not.
"And that will be the conclusion of the introductions. Now we shall let you eat in peace" The President said, and as he said that a bunch of people came out, bringing food over to the various peoples plates. The president and the other school officials seemed to disappear off the stage, and disappeared into some back room to discuss other nonsense. The food was rather delicious, but April didn't look like she was very hungry and sort of just fiddled with her food with her fork. Octavia on the other hand was pigging quite a lot, and seemed to think the food was really good. Edi just ate at a normal pace, wanting to savor the delicious food.

Gustav was actually seemed pretty disappointed in the security, he could have raised the rifle and kill off the head of state and his bodyguards. Though he had heard unlike the Hegemony this nation could probably replace its leader quickly. He could probably escape too, given that three airships were outside each with enough weapons to wipe this nation off the face of the earth.
He looked at April and said and frowned. He then shook his head "Comrade no one in my nation has ever been brainwashed I assure you. So I assure you that I have no psychological defects that would harm the great state of the Hegemony." he smiled slightly at her., and added "You would be much happier in my nation I assure you." he was highly annoyed at her but hid it well.
He watched the exchange between the president and a student and stood up saying "Admiral President, please I don't see how a sword puts anyone in danger, even I could take the sword from her with ease I'm sure your students have enough basic military training to stop one 11 year old with a sword." he then shrugged and added "There were just a total of 36 atomic weapons floating above this school, compared to that a sword is negligible." he was fully prepared to be told to shut up and get the shit beat out of him, but he wanted the right to be able to carry a sword as well.
When April scoffed he elbowed her in the ribs really hard, he wanted her to respect her Admiral president. When the president read a list of students he looked like he was listening to the word of god. He listened to every word of the speech like it came from his own leader. When she yelled at the president he stood up and grabbed her and lifted her up by her shirt, and shook her "How dare you speak to him like that! You are lucky he doesn't order your execution for that, of which I would happily oblige his order." he then set her down and said "You should feel lucky, the Hegemony is the only reason your nation is still around. You should be very thankful for it."
When food was put before him he looked at it in a confused way and began to eat it, it was different than most Zepplien meals, he ate it quite politely and asked April "Comrade, shouldn't you eat?"

April wasn't really sure she could believe that people in his nation weren't brainwashed, but said nothing. She just sort of stared at him at what he said, not really caring about what he said. She scoffed again. "I seriously doubt that. My mood has nothing to do with my nation, but my own personal issues" She said to him, sighing and shaking her head.
The President looked at the student when he stood up, and let him speak. "I think the Principal explained well enough the reasoning. She could accidentally poke someones eye out, even if it's dull. Or she could get pissed off at another student and jab them with it. It would still be a threat to their safety and hurt them" He said to the student. "None of them have military training. Some have fencing training, like her" He said, gesturing to Olivia, "and some have martial arts training, but that's because they chose to do those classes". The President visibly twitched at him saying there were just 36 atomic weapons floating above the school, but said nothing more on the subject.
"Ow!" April yelled at Gustav. She muttered to herself, and rubbed her ribs where he jabbed her hard with his elbow. When he suddenly stood up and grabbed her, lifting her up by her shirt, she looked clearly surprised and cut off guard by that fact. When he set her down again, she coughed slightly and straightened out her clothes, then looked at Gustav like he was insane. "Our President isn't stupid enough to execute someone for something as silly and minor as that" She said to him, crossing her arms and sitting back down. She just ignored the next part of what he said, figuring she would only get herself into a more shitty situation.
The President was about ready to get his guards to intervene the situation going on at the table, since it was 'violence' and they didn't tolerate it, but it calmed down before anything really happened. The Principal was the one who ended up speaking though. "New student, please don't attack people like that. We do not accept that kind of activity in this school" The Principal said, and April looked at Gustav and smirked because he got in trouble, not her. The President sort of just ignored the part of him saying she should be lucky he didn't order her execution.
Before he had completely left, he had picked up the gift of the AK-47 and took it with him into wherever he went, though he looked rather terrified of the gun. Pretty much everyone around him looked equally terrified.
April glared at him and snapped, "I'm not your 'comrade". She shook her head and said, "I'm not really hungry". The truth was she actually was hungry somewhat, but didn't really feel like eating. Though, she started to pick at her food slowly and eat it.
Olivia briefly wondered how Gustav knew her age. She figured it was just a lucky guess. Though, she was a little happy that he was standing up for her. That whole situation still sort of pissed her off. The idea of that many atomic weapons being over the school was a bit frightening to her, but she tried not to think about it. She just continued to eat.

Gustav of course was just too brainwashed to realise he was brainwashed, like pretty much everyone in his nation. He shook his head and said "You wouldn't have a single problem if you were born in my nation, all personal problems come from capitalistic greed."
He watched the president and looked shocked when he said his students didn't have any military training and almost yelled 'what?!' but managed to hold his tongue. He shook his head and bowed saying "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to offend your nation. I didn't mean to judge your values." he felt stupid for saying something like that when he wasn't even in his own nations.
Gustav watched April and said, with a very annoyed look on his face "I have seen students shot for less than that, I remember it vividly, only a Sea Fleet Admiral, and the student claimed that his actions in deploying biological weapons on civilians was immoral. He lined up all the students and beat the student to death with a wooden sword. She was such a pretty girl, shame." he kind of shrugged at the memory. He looked over at the president and asked "Attack? You guys seriously have a screwed up system if you think that was an attack." of course he didn't realise that it would actually be opposite. He then hit himself, in a way to cause pain, and said "I am so sorry Admiral President, just a little bit of culture shock." he wondered if he would be dead by now in his nation, he decided yes.
Gustav raised an eyebrow at her being so hostile and said "Please comrade, you don't have to be so aggressive." he then added "I'm Gustav by the way, Gustav 50059." he then shrugged and asked "Given that we are sharing a room, you want to have sex later?" he asked as if he was asking which bed she wanted, like it was nothing.

April scoffed at what he said. "I call bullshit on that, entirely. For one, my nation isn't capitalist. If anything it is socialist. And look, I have problems. So stop spewing bullshit" She said to him bluntly. Clearly she was in a bad mood. It didn't help she just didn't like this guy.
The President just sort of blinked at what Gustav said. "No need to apologize" He said to him. To him, Gustav was a good example of the cruelties if the Hegemony of Zepplien to their people, because this guy seemed to be twisted to some completely different reality. Maybe they could loosen him up to not be so afraid and whatnot.
April looked frightened of what Gustav said. This really proved to her of what he said earlier being bullshit. She twitched at his story, and frowned slightly. "So I wouldn't have a single problem in your nation, huh? Sure as hell doesn't sound like it. It sounds like I'd be treated like shit, and likely be even more fucked up then I already am. I love how I will be so perfectly safe in your nation" She said sarcastically.
The President just stared at the student and blinked slightly. But he said nothing. When he hit himself, he blinked again. "Uh, it's fine" He said quietly, and shook his head at the strange new student.
April just grunted at him and rolled her eyes. "Oh please, I bet you see more aggression in your 'beloved', 'great' nation daily then I just showed to you" She said, rolling her eyes again. "Nice to meet, Gustav 50059" She said sarcastically, wondering why his last name was numbers at the same time. At the next thing he asked her, she looked at him like he was stupid and she instinctively scooted away from him more. "What?! Do you think I'm stupid? I'm not having sex with some guy I just met, and some guy I don't like at that" She said bluntly, and felt like getting up and going to her room already. "If you even try to do anything, expect to be disappointed" She said bluntly.

Gustav shook his head and said "You still have greed like capitalists, and the evil free markets. You also have idiotic elections, a constraint on the will of the people." he shook his head and said "You would have the best hospitals, and doctors in the world to help your problems. Besides we would likely remove the base of the problem." he frowned at her, and pat her shoulder "You will still probably be fine here."
Gustav didn't respond to the president, he felt like he shouldn't. He just sat back down and shut up for now.
Gustav raised an eyebrow at April and said "Citizens who obey the rules aren't hurt, I'm sure you would be fine. I mean you wouldn't break the rules would you? Comrade you would also have your comrades there. It is your comrades that truly allow you to endure the strict punishments. I think that is the point really." he shook his head and said "You would learn to protect yourself too, all citizens are given millitary training, you would be able to keep yourself safe as well." he seemed pretty pissed at her sarcasm, but otherwise pretty calm.
Gustav sighed and said "I expect hostilities from my teachers and government, I don't expect it from my comrades. I consider you a comrade to me, and I thought you wouldn't be hostile." he said 'comrade' the way others would say 'friend' showing he thought her as a friend already. He raised an eyebrow at her sarcasm and said "It is nice to meet you, I think this is where you say your name." he didn't have a hint of sarcasm to his voice. He raised an eyebrow at her overreaction and said "No I don't think your stupid. What is the big deal anyway comrade, it is only sex. I mean where I come from it isnt really a big deal if two people feel like having sex they do." he looked taken aback and said "What do you mean by that?"

April sort of just stared at Gustav some more like he was insane. "And you know so much about Corrian, do you? If anything Corrian is one of the least greedy countries out there" She said to him. The rest she felt wasn't worth arguing about. She looked slightly offended and glared at him. "I'm not freaking sick! Hospitals and doctors won't help with what I have gone through in my life!" She yelled and snapped, and some heads turned her way, though she seemed to ignore it. She squirmed away from him patting her shoulder, and bluntly said, "Don't touch me".
"You just said I am lucky my President didn't get me executed for what I said, so clearly according to your nation, I would break the rules and be executed" She said, looking at him like he was oblivious. "You do realize people have comrades here too, right? Assuming you mean 'comrade' as in 'friend" She said to him, shaking her head. "I don't want fucking military training" She snapped.
"You expect hostility from teachers and your goverment? And I'm supposed to want to be in your nation why?" She asked with a sigh. "Well, I don't consider you a comrade" She said bluntly, pretty sure she knew what he referred to when he said comrade, meaning he thought her as a friend. "I believe you are quite right" She said, but didn't say her name and didn't seem to have interest in saying her name. She just rolled her eyes to the first part. "What's the big deal? It's only sex? Sex can really screw the wrong people up you know. It can be very emotionally draining" She said to him, kind of calmly. "Well, I don't feel like having sex. So there. Especially with you" She said bluntly. "What do you think I mean by that? I mean if you try to sleep with me you will be disappointed" She said, rolling her eyes.
"Now if you will excuse me, I am going to my dorm" April said to him, quickly standing up and gathering her backpack and minor things, then taking off in a direction she assumed the dorms were in. She didn't recall them exactly saying where they'd room.

Gustav raised an eyebrow and said "You are socialists though, we are communists, by default you are more greedy than us." he shook his head at what she said "I think you could get help for the underlying problem, like therapy. Plus if you were born in my nation I bet you twenty Private Credits that the route of all your problems would have not existed in the first place." he didn't seem affected by her yelling at him, he had been yelled at too much in his life for it to really effect him. He removed his hand and said "Ok, you only had to ask." remaining kind, or at least trying to.
He nodded and said "But in my nation you would know not to do that. I mean that apparently wasn't illegal here, so you were technically still following the rules. So who knows." he shrugged and said "I sort of figured, however your 'friends' are nothing compared to the eternal embrace of the state, and the glory of Marx." for a communist state the people of the Hegemony seemed rather obsessed with Marx, the maker of the Communist Manifesto.
"I meant military." he quickly corrected, almost seeming scared of saying something bad about his government. He then answered "Our schools are great at making our citizens into perfect communist drones, each willing to work birth till death for the Hegemony, but they aren't fun." he looked hurt when she said she didn't think of him as her comrade and asked "You don't?" he shrugged at what she said about sex and said "Well I have never heard of someone getting screwed up by that." it was probably his nation's open views about sex, or more accurately, totalitarian but in a kind of good way. He shrugged and said "Ok." not seeming to mind getting a no. He shrugged and said "Well ok, I'm sure there a lot of other cute girls and guys at this school."
"Our dorm you mean. Also ok." he said rather bluntly, and went back to eating, slyly taking the food that was left on April's plate.

April guessed she could agree to that, in a way. Though, to her, there was a difference with being slightly greedy and completely insane like the impression she got from the Hegemony of Zepplien. She'd rather be in a slightly greedy country. "I bet you twenty private credits, whatever that is, that that is complete and utter bullshit" She said bluntly to him. "So pretty much the route of the problem wouldn't exist if I was in your country? So that means I wouldn't exist right now and wouldn't be talking to you. That doesn't sound like that bad of a thing" She said rather calmly for such a conversation. She just ignored the last part of what he said.
April slightly nodded to what he said, actually sort of agreeing with it. But she still felt like she'd hate it more in his country. She just rolled her eyes. "The idea of friends sounds way better than your 'eternal embrace of the state' and the 'glory of Marx" She said to him, and the she quietly trailed off, saying, "If I had friends...".
April just kind of looked at him like "Whatever" to the fact he corrected himself. She noticed he seemed almost scared to say something bad about his government, and that made her want to be in his country even less. "Wow, that sounds amazing" She said extremely sarcastically. "Sounds like your schools brain wash your people and put them into slavery. Yeah, I'd totally be better off there" She said rather sarcastically again. She didn't seem to really care one bit that she had hurt him, and rolled her eyes. "Do I need to repeat myself again? No, I don't. And that's final" She said bluntly. "That is probably because you were brain washed by your stupid government" She said to him. At what he said she seemed to literally freeze for a bit. Just the fact some guy seemed to refer to her as cute made her freeze, and change her opinion on Gustav a bit. That still didn't stop her from pretty much charging off shortly later. "Do...Do you mean that?" She asked, and actually seemed genuinely curious if he really thought she was cute.
April just rolled her eyes and walked off without responding to him.
{Olivia} Olivia had the displeasure of sitting rather close to Gustav and April, so she practically heard their whole entire conversation. She was the type of person who got uncomfortable with cussing, and especially sex conversations. That last one might have to do with her age, but the other seemed to be just how she was. She was sort of wondering why they didn't just separate it into like 3 groups, 5 to 9 years old, 10 to 12, and 13 to 18, because she wasn't really sure at her age if she really wanted to be with all these swearing teenagers who talked about sex.
After April left, she stood up and went over to Gustav. She rested her hands on the table, and smiled at Gustav, even though she usually was kind of serious. Well, maybe not usually, but a lot. "Gustav right? Don't worry about her. It just sounds like she's in a bad mood. I'm sure over time she will lighten up to you and accept that you are different. Maybe even become a good comrade of yours. I can see past her anger, and I see a nice person who is just troubled. You should give her a chance" She said to him. With one last smile to Gustav, she went back to her seat and sat back down, then went back to eating. While she was at it, she started a conversation with her roommate, to get to know him.

Gustav raised an eyebrow like April was stupid "Private credits are our privatised currency, I figured anyone would know that." he pulled out a bill that showed airships, tanks and soldiers on one side and a picture of a beautiful female Admiral on the other. He rolled his eyes "Parents, that is what you mean. Ha, what a capitalist invention, they have no place in the great Hegemony. I assure you, any problems you have/had with your parents would be gone."
He kind of smirked at her, and laughed saying "There is nothing more important than Marx, if you embrace Marx you get to go to the Eternal Communist Party, and if you don't, you are sent to the eternal Gulag." it seemed to be their version of heaven and hell. He added "You would have comrades who embrace you in my nation."
Gustav looked like he was going to hit her and said "How dare you, slavery is a blight on the People. Our government does not need brainwashing, it is a such a glorious state. The only people who work for the people without pay are the capitalist scum we capture." he shrugged to the next thing she said and said "Ok, I was just asking." he looked angry and poker her in the chest like a guy would do to a guy and said "Say one more bad thing about the Hegemony, I dare you." with an angrey look in his eye, given that Hegemony citizens had millitary training is would probably be a bad idea to piss him off. He raised an eyebrow and said "Yeah of course I ment it, hasn't anyone called you cute before?"
He looked at the young girl and said "Ja, Gustav, Gustav 50059." he smiled and said "Thank you for that comrade, I would like to have her as a comrade." there seemed to be suitable differences in his voice when he talked about different types of comrades. He then nodded and said "Given your the one 'socialist' that gives me a good feeling I will listen to you." he then stood up and walked toward their dorm to try and talk to April, maybe somewhere private would be better.
McGee walked into the cafeteria, she wore the same outfit as Gustav and had the same length hair, showing how their government didn't care about gender, it oppressed equally. She sat next to a guy (your guy) and said "Glory to the State and Marx comrade what is happening in this day of our glorious leader?" it seemed to be an 'edgy' version of a normal Hegemony greeting.

April rolled her eyes again. "Not everybody knows everything about every nation" She commented. She looked at the bill, but only for a bit before losing interest. At the next part of what he said, she blinked and looked at him like he was insane. "And many other problems would replace the problems I had with my parents" She said quietly, seeming to think back on a story she heard about herself.
Yet again April just sort of stared at him like he was insane. "I assume that you mean like a heaven and hell. For your information, I don't believe in either" She said, and then raised her voice, "And don't even think about giving me the crap that I will go to hell, or the "Gulag" for not believing in it, because I don't believe in it so I will just think that's bullshit" She said rather forcefully. She just said nothing on the last part of what he said, only frowning.
April laughed again. "How dare I? Oh, am I hurting your feelings now?" She said with a sound of satisfaction in her voice. "You know, I seriously need a tracker for how many times you say 'glory' or 'glorious' about your state. I don't even say that about my nation ever and I think it is quite nice" She said to him. "Capitalist scum..." She muttered to herself. "No matter what, slavery is wrong" She said to him. She actually seemed a little upset for her over reaction, but when he started to get angry she quickly thought nothing more of it. When he poked her in the chest, or more specifically her boob, she looked a little worried now. And a little disturbed. "What will happen if I do? You kill me? Hit me? Then you will be expelled or something similar to that for being abusive in a school" She said to him, having no idea that the Hegemony threatened war if he was harmed. "No...." She said quietly to the last thing he said, and looked at the table like she was upset about that.
Once Gustav was in the dorm room, April turned to him and looked kind of upset. She felt bad for how she treated him earlier. Already, just in a short period of time, she felt bad for what she said and regretted pretty much all of it. Though, at the same time she felt like something was emotionally unstable about her, and she was going to do things she probably shouldn't, and likely regret it and get herself in trouble.
Which she pretty much did something along those lines. Something that in her 'normal' mood she would be ashamed of herself for. "I'm sorry, for earlier..." She said quietly to him, and then walked up to him and flung her arms around his neck. While she was at it, she started to kiss him surprisingly deeply, likely catching Gustav completely off guard by her sudden willingness to kiss a practical stranger. As she continued to kiss him, her hands started to rub up and down his back, and she started to walk backwards while still in an 'embrace' with him, backing herself up towards the bed she claimed for herself. She backed into the bed, pretty much purposefully making herself fall onto the bed onto her back, possibly taking Gustav with her to be on top of her. At this very moment it still hadn't hit her that to her what she was doing right now was completely wrong for her, and that she shouldn't be doing it. Likely it would hit her before too long.
{Olivia} Unlike April's immediate hostility, Olivia responded with kindness. "It is nice to meet you Gustav" She said to him with a smile. She would of said his last name, but she couldn't remember the numbers already. "My names Olivia by the way" She said with a smile. She nodded to the next thing, noting the differences in his comrades. She knew that comrade meant 'friend', but figured the other version that he said must of meant 'girlfriend', or something similar to that. Though, that sort of surprised her that he would think that after their arguing earlier, so she wasn't completely 100% sure that her thoughts on it were accurate. She smiled at his words, but that it was a little weird too. "Thank you" She said. At her age, she didn't really care enough to know the difference between communism, socialism, capitalism, or any of those governments. She hadn't had a really true opinion on any of those subjects. Though she sure as hell liked the free education here.
{Edi} Edi looked over at the girl that sat next to him, noticing the fact she looked like she was from Zepplien like the other guy. His thoughts were confirmed at what she said, because that seemed to be what people from there said. But at the same time he thought all of this, he felt his heart skip a beat, then start racing a little more. She seemed like a pretty enough girl to him, though he felt a little ashamed because he still felt his love for his girlfriend. "Uh...yeah" He said, shaking his head. "Nothing much. Just getting situated, and trying not to forget my memory....you see, I have this condition. I have a really hard time making new memories. I could know you and I wouldn't even remember. Do I know you?" He asked, kind of blabbering.

Gustav shrugged and said "I expected gratitude and knowledge from a nation we allow to exist. Given your lack of military and the fact we boarder one and other we allow you to live outside of Hegemony control willingly. You should be grateful." he held his hand out for his money when she looked disinterested in it. He frowned to the last thing she said and said "Comrade, what happened to you?"
"How dare you compare the word of Marx to false religious hogwash, they may appear like those things but they are more important with Marx, and true." he shook his head and said "Yeah you are going to the Eternal Gulag with an attitude like that. If you would just accept Marx into your heart and state then you could go joing Marx himself in the Eternal Communist Party." he sounded like a religious zealot, but he was in fact one of the less vocal of his people about Marx. He fished around in his backpack and pulled out his copy of the Communist Manifesto. There were likely copies in this nation and you could clearly see that this was a much thicker book, basically adding in all of Zepplien's craziness. He then handed it to her and said "I give you the word of Marx." of course the more accurate term would be what the Zepplien ministry of information wants you to think Marx said.
Gustav nodded and said "Yes, if the intent was to hurt my feeling than you have succeeded" to the first questions, unlike capitalist society where men were supposed to hide when hurt, the Hegemony imposed that men should act like women and simply state their feelings. He shook his head and said "We have a different view of our government than you do. Yours exists above you, ours exists with us. We are much more aware of our ones glory." he figured she didn't call him capitalist scum under her breath, and moved on to the next thing and said "Capitalists aren't people, if your nation was capitalist it would have been enslaved long ago. I also wish to point out that slavery is integral in our society. Who else would build things that might blow up in their face while they do?" he then frowned at her and said "Comrade, you are cure, with your long hair and slightly pale skin tone, I am honestly surprised people don't tell you that."
When he returned to his room he looked at April, he still felt annoyed at her, but was willing to forgive and forget. When she kissed him he was shocked, but seemed to kinda just roll with it. He followed her movements and 'landed' on top of her in the bed. He stopped kissing her and gently asked "Are you ok Comrade, I didn't think you wanted to do this." he was still over her, but looked concerned about her.
(McGee) McGee chuckled at the rambling of the socialist and took off her coat, showing a black military uniform under it. She smiled at him and said "No comrade, we don't know each other." she smiled and asked "You wouldn't know where to find out where to get my room would you comrade? I think I missed assignments." she stretched, and then strained her uniform out. Based on what had been shown to them, the people there could probably wonder if there was anything but uniforms in the Hegemony, though hers was black and Gustav's was grey.

April seemed to just twitch at what he said about them being neighbors. "Okay, maybe I am a little bit..." She said quietly. When he stuck out his hand, she handed the money back to him. "That is none of your business" She snapped, but it looked like she regretted it somewhat.
It looked like April had a really hard time fighting the urge to snort at what Gustav said. "If you say so" She said in an uninterested way. She laughed again, which probably could seem rather rude. "I love people like you" She said in a very sarcastic way. "I don't believe that bullshit, so I don't believe I'm going to this "Gulag" or this Marx Communist Party" She said to him. When he took out the book and handed it to her, she looked disinterested in it, but then closed her eyes and sighed, then took the book from him. If he could tell, it seemed like she was trying not to be as rude as she had been. "I will read it when I get the time" She said.
That wasn't entirely her intent, but she wasn't exactly avoiding making his feelings hurt either. When he spoke so more, she sort of just stared at him, but couldn't think of anything to really say on the subject. She didn't call him capitalist scum, and was more referring to actual capitalist scum. She scoffed at the next thing he said. "You sound like the people who say homosexuals aren't people, atheists are parasites, and black or Hispanic people aren't people. Every one are people if you like them or not. Just because you disagree with them doesn't make them "not people"" She said, shaking her head. "I hate slavery, and what you just said makes slavery sound even worse. And that's final. I will never support slavery" She said bluntly. She twitched slightly at his words. She sort of wondered why out of all the people she had met, a crazy communist from Zepplien had to be the guy who was the first to say she was cute.
April was surprised with herself, allowing a guy willingly to be on top of her. Though at the same time she felt her heart racing like she was regretting what she was doing, and wondering why she was doing this. Especially with a guy she seemed to already hate. She seemed somewhat happy that he stopped kissing her, because she wasn't sure why she was kissing him in the first place, or if she could control herself. Though, she felt like she probably could of stopped, if she could get away from him. That was her main concern, that he might get too into it and make it hard for her to protest. But she was pleasantly surprised that he seemed to be concerned for her.
April pretty much fully plopped down onto her back onto the bed when he stopped kissing her. Tears seemed to form in her eyes, and she started to cry. "I don't know what I'm doing...I'm sorry, I didn't mean it" She said with a sob. It was hard to tell entirely what she was apologizing for. It almost seemed like she was doing this to apologize to him, and at the same time it was sort of her way to attempt to make herself feel better, or something. Just the fact that he thought she was cute was making her feel better, and the fact he was so willing to be her friend even after she was being an ass. Just the whole thing. If anything it was just her being screwed up emotionally.
"I'm sorry for everything" She said with more sobs, and just laid there on the bed crying, with him still over her. Right now, she didn't seem to want to move, and was just having an emotional break down.
{Edi} Edi watched her take off her coat, and didn't really seem to have an opinion about her wearing a military uniform. He smiled at what she said. "Expect me to say that every, single, god damn day" He joked. He thought for a bit. "You probably can ask the school officials. We could...go to them together, and a-ask if we could share a dorm together" He suggested, and looked slightly embarrassed for asking a girl he just met to room with him. Figuring that he might as well say it, because he wouldn't remember saying it, he said, "You...you are cute by the way". It was sort of him hitting on her, or flirting with her, but he didn't really care and knew he'd forget he said it. Though, he felt a little guilty for saying that because of his girlfriend he wasn't sure was dead or alive.
