Ok, so basically we will put everything for the Clash 52060 thread here.

The Neo Hegemony
Beyond the mysterious 'Terminus Relays' lays the titanic Empire of the Neo Hegemony. The Hegemony is made of the Lekgolo, Vorcha, Rachni, Sunche, Drox, Promethians, and of course their ancient AI masters. Their society is built on the idea that the sins of the past plague the future, and that a great enemy is coming for them, as it did their ancestors. To this end they have constructed more military power then the rest of the galaxy put together, along with several 'Crucible' objects which are said to be massive super weapons against their ancient evil. The Hegemony rarely has visitors, and almost never lets average people leave its boarders. Every once in a while ships fly through the relays, begging for asylum and protection moments before Hegemony ships pursue and blow them out of the sky, then return through their relay as if nothing happened. Little to nothing is known about internal Hegemony affairs, but judging by the panicked cries for help heard from fleeing civilians, it is pretty awful.
Lekgolo: Each pair of Lekgolo creatures is actually a hive of worm like creatures that work to together like any other sentient creature. These pairs see each other as inseparable identical twins pretty much, if one falls, the other will devote the rest of its life to revenge. Their history is almost entirely Hegemonic, instead of resisting the Hegemony when the war machine arrived at their homeworld of Mu,they instead prepared a massive offering of food, drink, and entertainment. The Hegemony in returned gave them space flight technology, and uplifted them to the relay system. Sense then the Lekgolo have served as the right hand of the Hegemony, and a proud military branch.
Vorcha: The Vorcha were a primitive culture of warriors when the Hegemony first found them, and like good warriors they fought the Hegemony. Hegemony leaders were impressed with their attitude, and ability to absorb damage, killing Lekgolo and robots alike with nothing more then swords and primitive siege weapons. Though it took dozens of years, and countless soldiers and ships, the Vorcha were finally tamed. The Vorcha culture, unlike others, was maintained, because they revered the Hegemony and its strength, following orders blindly and without questions. They now make up the majority of the grunt forces of the Hegemony, sent in by the million.
Rachni: The insectoid Rachni served as replacements for the long dead Vika umung Hegemony ranks. Their soldiers would provide both grunts and shock troops, while their workers would build anything the Hegemony needed. Though things seemed to go exceptionally well for the Hegemony diplomats at first, once plasma weapons, and a handful of starships had been handed over, things took a dramatic turn for the worse. They quickly built space worthy ships, and sent them at lightspeed into Hegemony Dreadnoughts, tearing them in half with a single suicide ship. The Hegemony had no choice but to wage a quick, but very expensive war with them, known as the Rachni Rebellions. Though the Hegemony lost more tonnage of ship then every other war put together, they had more Dreadnoughts then the Rachni had fighters. The defeated hives were obliterated with neutron weapons, and fresh eggs were used to rebuild the species, as Hegemony loyalists.
Sunche: The Sunche are a strange species that lack a solid form, and more resemble massive cells. Their culture was not unified by any government when the Hegemony found it, and as such, it knows nothing of leadership. They communicate with each other by heat signature, but ones sent into council space are cybetnetically enhanced to be able to communicate with other species. Like other species they provide soldiers for the Hegemony army, serving as exquisite snipers, medics, and engineers, being fragile, but quick and small when they need it.
Drox: The Drox serve as the scientists and specialist troops of the Hegemony, and it has become their culture, reforming into the Drox Technocracy. Before their assimilation they had discovered the relay system, and had settled in half a dozen systems. When they encountered the Hegemony, they fought gallantly, but quickly realised there was no stopping the endless stream of ships pouring from their relays. After much debate an unconditional surrender was issued, and the Drox were transformed into a client race of the Hegemony. Through their more recent history, the Drox seemed to have finally adapted to their new role, however garbled distress calls are still heard from their home world, pleading with anyone to save them from the Hegemony, these calls go unanswered due to Hegemony military might.
Promethians: The Promethians are a race of cyborgs, organic minds and robotic bodies whose control of space-time is undisputed in the Hegemony. Though they lacked proper space ships, they had colonized both habitable planets by the time the Hegemony arrived through the use of wormhole manipulation technology. When the Hegemony Assimilation Fleet entered their system and demanded their surrender or die, several of their ships simply exploded. It was later discovered that fission weapons had been placed onboard by the finest Promethian sabotage teams. The Hegemony Admiral ordered plasma weapons fired at one of their largest cities. In response, he was shot by a Promethian who simply appeared on his bridge, and disappeared after tossing several grenades. With the flagship crippled, and more ships exploding, the rear admiral of the fleet negotiated with the Promethian. They agreed to serve the Hegemony's every whim as long as they kept their homeworld, and their wormhole technology. The Hegemony reluctantly agreed, and ever sense, the Promethians have served as ultra loyal assassins, and saboteurs
The Covenant
Occupying the 'Traverse' systems, the Covenant is a massive religious empire, who has followers throughout council space, and is highly milliteristic, due to its large boarder with the Hegemony systems. Its capital is a massive space station, having aboard what they call the 'voice of the ancients' an AI even older then the Hegemony, which has gone insane with age. Their followers believe in many many gods, along with the idea that one can achieve godhood with the proper deeds in life. They believe that Humans achieved this, and that's why they are extinct, not because they were wiped out by the Reapers. They consider the afterlife to be the 'Great Journey' a path to divinity.
Prophets: Though their species name is known to the galaxy it is never spoken out of respect to their religion. They are both the founding members and the leaders of the Covenant, finding ancient artifacts on their home world, which is known by its holy ancient name of Suriso. Their history was based around forming their empire to protect their religion and themselves (they are very frail) along with spreading colonies across the stars.
Sangheili: The warrior species of the Sanghelili were the first species uplifted by the Prophets, embracing their religion and technology. In exchange they have devoted their entire military might to the Covenant. Despite misconceptions about their species, they are entirely female and reptilian, reproducing asexually much like the Haikala of the time of Humans. Their warriors are known for individual ferocity, and personal honour, not killing surrendering enemies, and giving their lives for their fellow soldier. Their fleets are large enough to even give the Hegemony pause, and will obliterate anything near the capital station/holy city of the Covenant.
Unggoy: The Unggoy are a slightly smaller then human race, but about twice as strong, and good workers. Due to high breeding rates, and natural hardyness their population was already overcrowding their homeworld by the time the Covenant got there. The Covenant did the good thing and helped them move onto other worlds without terms or conditions, and the Unggoy repayed them by joining the Covenant as grunt troops, workers, and even missionaries. Their common soldiers, when not lead by Sanghelili, are lead by an Unggoy Decon, which inspires them to fight better, and even give their lives in sacrifice for their religion by activating grenades, and sprinting at the enemy.
Huragok: The Huragok are possibly the strangest species in the galaxy. Their culture has absolutely no concept of war, or bloodshed of any kind, and as such, they don't really understand 'sides' in a battle. A Sanghelili commander once wrote about the time she watched in awe at a Huragok repairing enemy weapons before tending to their wounded soldiers. Their species also has a natural love and skill about repairing technology, and commonly repair anything nearby that is broken, making them rather invaluable and earning the nickname 'engineers'. Though they rarely speak, it is understood that the Huragok are always thinking, though some think of them as stupid for their usual silence.
