This is a pretty simple concept. We each play a character or multiple characters who live in the same neighborhood as each other, in what I picture to be one of those small towns where everybody can know each other easily. The towns houses can vary from big houses to small, dinky houses. The town would consist of a grocery store, a post office, and other small businesses. There will be a school where all our characters likely go to, assuming all of our characters will be highschool age. I automatically imagine us all sort of playing our characters entire household, like their parents, siblings, and so on. There will likely be various NPC's, from shop owners, to creepy old men living in a house in the forest, to awesome old men playing the banjo in their cabin in the forest. This will be a mostly normal life RP where people aren't shooting at each other constantly or almost dieing, or zombies, though like any normal real life, there will be problems. Like relationship problems at school, hormonal issues, depression issues, growing up issues, whatever.

Pleasantview
Large Pleasentview Lake
The biggest tourism destination of Pleasentview is the lake. There is a popular beach on the lake, it is popular for boating, hiking around, the restaurant on the water, and various other things that are near to it. It is also popular for fishing boats, but Pleasentview is very strict about overfishing, so it is very much regulated. Every 4th of July there is a fireworks show on the water, which people watch from the beach. The same at midnight on New Years. The lake is renowned for its beautiful fall colors during fall on the trees surrounding the lake, mixed in with the pine trees. In extreme circumstances, which doesn't happen a whole lot, the lake has been known to freeze during winter, at least a big chunk of it, making one large ice skating ring. That is if the ice is thick enough. This has only been reported a few times. If you want frozen lakes, the smaller, nearby lakes tend to freeze more then the big lake, or the lakes up in the mountains that freeze every year.
Small Pleasentview Lake
This is a small lake situated in Pleasentview. The lake is located in a neighborhood, with a few houses right on the water. A lot of houses are near the lake, but are typically a walking distance from the lake, and not right on it like a few homes. This lake isn't really open to the public. The access to the lake is meant to be restricted to the residents of the area only, not any random people wanting to go to a lake. However, people have been known to visit it without being a resident. Most people that are visiting prefer to just go to the bigger lake, anyway, leaving the residents with a nice, mostly private lake. On a nice, sunny day you can see a fair amount of boats on the water, though, from the people that live there. Sometimes boats with engines, but most of the time small paddle boats, kayaks, canoes, and so on. People that have boats with engines tend to just spend an extra few minutes to take their boat on the big lake, where they have more room to actually make use of their boat.
Pleasentview's Most Iconic Restaurant
The restaurant is smack dab on the edge of the lake. There is a large upstairs and downstairs deck that is practically over the lake, looking out over the beautiful lake. You can watch the activities of the lake easily, and if it is a stormy day, watch lightning strike the lake, a storm rolling rolling over the lake, whatever. The food here ranges from fish caught directly on the lake, to seafood brought in from far away, to burgers, to spaghetti, and so on. The restaurant itself gets a lot of tourism. They are highly praised for their delicious food in everything they make, along with their customer service, style, view, and so on.
Church of Pleasantview
This church is definitely different then your typical church, or possibly any church out there. It allows people from almost all religions to come here and pray. They have sections for Buddhism, Muslim's, Jews, and Christians, along with some others. If anyone tries to preach religious hate inside the church, they are instantly kicked out and banned from coming back forever. Freedom of speech or not, they don't accept religious hate or any form of hate inside their school. They know that their system of having everyone in the same place doesn't really completely work completely, though, since there is no Mosque, temple, and whatever for the different religions. They do however have a plan to make a mosque and temple near the church, and for the rare occasion, have people from different religions actually socialize together instead of hating each other for being in different religions. Of course, you will still have the hate, but you will automatically get kicked out if you are hateful anyway.
Another noteworthy aspect of the Church is they are openly willing to marry homosexual couples. They even have a sign outside advertising that they accept those kinds of marriages. Also on the advertisement is that they accept atheist marriages, too. It is a very tolerant church to everyone, and isn't even that preachy about their beliefs. Well, they don't try to push it onto the Atheists, anyway, or their mostly Christian views on any of the other religions.
Pleasentview Grocery Store
It's, uh, well, a grocery store. Not a whole lot needs to be said about it. You go here, buy groceries, leave. There isn't really anything except groceries here, either. If you want video games, hardware stuff, clothes, and so on, you have to go elsewhere. Likely another town altogether.
Pleasentview Bar
This is, well, a bar. And you have to be 21 to go to it. Or, to be accepted drinks, anyway. Unless you have a bad bartender who gives you alcohol, despite your age. Or you have some influence where you can get yourself an alcoholic beverage, despite your age, because you go "My father owns this bar!" or something like that. Otherwise, good luck getting yourself a beer here until your 21. Of course, despite the age restrictions, teenagers still manage to get their hands on hard alcohol and 6 packs of beer from stores, along with things like cigarette's, cocaine, heroin, and other shit you shouldn't even try in the first place, no matter your age. Because apparently it is cooler to spend your little cash you get as a teenager, unless you have a job, on crap that is bad for you instead of things like video games, college funds, and so on. And somehow get a hold of it so easily.
Pleasentview Music Hall
The Pleasentview Music Hall is located right next to the bar. However, despite the fact they are near each other, with the rare exception of some of the wilder, more mature concerts, you are NOT allowed to bring alcohol into the music hall. Most shows played there are all age concerts, with the exception of some 18+ shows and some 21+ shows. They'll check you for alcohol levels at the door, too, and if they are too high....Well, good luck getting in.
They've been highly praised for accepting a rather wide range of music from all over the place. They get a lot of tourism from their concert hall alone. They have popular bands play there, and not very popular one's at all. They play a lot of music, too, throughout the entire day, so it is very possible you will eventually find something you would enjoy and want to see there. Unless all you like is things like Justin Bieber, P!nk, Maroon 5, and things like that, which are probably way too popular to be playing at a small concert hall. Then you are better going off to a bigger city with a big concert hall, not expecting Justin Bieber to be playing in a small venue.
Pleasentview School
The school is known for housing all ages from all school years. From preschool, all the way to college. For a small town, they have a rather large school because of this. At times the school probably has more population then the town itself. A lot of people go to the college section here, people from other towns go to the high school, and so on. For obvious reasons the preschool, kindergarten and elementary grade areas are separated from the high school. They would rather not have high schoolers bullying the preschool, kindergartners or elementary school aged children. Or see teenagers making out in the hallways, hearing their offensive language, seeing them acting immature, and so on.
However, middle schoolers and high schoolers are allowed to be together. The two are connected, so they can meet much easier then the preschool, kindergarten, and elementary schoolers. They don't tend to take classes together, obviously, but they do share a Cafeteria. So people like Elika and Slater can socialize with each other during school, and pretty much all of the students in the RP.
The school is also known for its free breakfast and lunch services. Breakfast if you are there early, and lunch for every day purposes. How the school gets its funds is unknown. Part of it may involve the principals and other heads of the school having reasonable paychecks and not giving themselves ridiculous raises. The school is more reasonable then the U.S. itself, really. In general the school seems to be more reasonable about a lot of things schools seem to be lacking as of late.
Their prom system has had mixed opinions from the public, however. In a way, they have a prom for all ages. Middle school and high school students are allowed to go to prom together, for example, which has drawn some criticism from parents. Even though if parents are uncomfortable by the situation, they can spend about 5 minutes telling their children that they don't think they should be going to prom together when one of them is 18 and the other is 12. That hasn't really been a known problem at the school, anyway.
There is also a separate "prom" for preschool aged children, along with one for kindergarten, and elementary school. But these aren't really like your standard proms. The preschool prom is more like a way for little kids who are friends with each other to go to an extra special play place and hang out, and a similar deal with the kindergarten one and elementary one, though obviously the types of activities are different for each age group, and how people ask each other to prom.
The prom is free to all of the ages, and the event happens at every start of a new school year. So, you can go multiple times if you like, once a year. It seems to be done to be sort of like a gift for the students on the first day of school every year, if they feel like going. A lot of people spend the whole summer anticipating the prom at the start of the year, and others can't get themselves to ask their partner until a few days before the prom. Or, they become close to their partner throughout the duration of the summer, and don't even feel like asking them until it is much closer because by then is when they truly feel like they should ask each other to go.
The school also takes bullying very seriously. Unlike with some schools, if they see bullying going on, they stamp it out. People can't get away with that kind of stuff as easily in this school. That doesn't mean there aren't the bullying times where someone tries to bully someone else while the teachers aren't around, and because the school knows people like to lie to get others in trouble, you have to have some pretty serious evidence to prove that you were actually being bullied.
Along with taking bullying seriously, they also take religious insults, homosexual insults, rape jokes, poking fun at people for what they wear, their weight, and so on as seriously as bullying. In other words, it is hard to get away with being a complete asshole in this school.
Pleasentview Ski Resort
It is a decent drive from the main part of Pleasentview to the ski resort, but not majorly far away. It is a reasonable distance for a few hours of skiing, and you can even rent a house or stay in a hotel up there for a few days if you plan a multi-day trip. The ski resort is highly praised for its varying types of activities, from snowmobile-specific hills, to having a halfpipe, to jumps, and so on. There are easy hills like the bunny slope, to complex hills like the double diamond, not recommended for inexperienced snowboarders or skiers. The ski resort gets a lot of snow annually. Pleasentview itself usually gets a decent amount of snow, but not to the extent of the ski resort, understandably.
