"Oh..."Hawke said,"I didn't know you had that many AI to protect..." He frowned slightly and sighed,"You still should have come to the Galactic Police Force, but we can't change that now. I just don't understand why you trusted the Venusians, but not the Galactic Police Force. You could have come to us for help, not the Venusians." Hawke's fist clenched slightly, but it didn't seem to be an angry gesture directed at Alan. He kind of did a scoff like noise, and said,"How do you know it was them that were enthusiastic? Angel, a Rocket Angel we 'captured', or more like, we freed was completely under the control of an AI implant, or something like that. No child would choose war, no child would be happy to kill people. Other then Alma, I guess. And Dekota, but she's kind of one of a kind. If you didn't know, you couldn't stop them," He said. He didn't look to happy when Alan said they should conscript every able bodied adolescent and older. "No. We can't let this war take what we believe is right. If we resort to bad methods to beat our enemy, do we really deserve to win? We can't sacrifice our souls just to win," He said, clearly referring to more then just conscripting. Basically he was trying to say they shouldn't stray from what they believed to be right. He looked rather annoyed when Alan snapped at him, and said,"They're not safe! They may be protected from Space Pirates, but they're not safe from the Hegemony. You claim that they aren't kidnapped, that they're not conscripted, but you know nothing of what happens in your own faction. Did you ever hear about the disappearances on Suriso? AFTER the Hegemony took over." He then paused before saying,"I don't know why I should even believe that you don't support it. I do, but I don't know why. You kidnapped Jodelle, YOU. You brainwashed her, that was your choice. You forced Vittorio's sister to work for you by threatening to kill their parents. You made Adair endure ten minutes of pain so that you could have a clone. Then you made that close have to kill, to assassinate, and to suffer through whatever abuse and guilt you piled on her. That was you, Alan," His voice kind of got angrier and angrier as he spoke. He listened to what Alan said about the Hegemony in silence, though he still didn't look completely satisfied.
"Doubtful. People don't think that way, sadly. They'll be thinking about how many people died by the AI reapers, and how many people suffered by the Hegemony's hands, not by how many AI died to save them," He actually sounded a little distasteful toward people when he said that, which was surprising, since he was Hawke. "Some people will pay attention to that, of course. Hopefully more then I anticipate." He looked at the poster, then said jokingly,"Hopefully that wouldn't make people think I've lost it," Then said more seriously,"Some people probably will think I lost it, but I don't really care what those people think, anyway." After a bit of thought, he said,"Did you just design that in like, two seconds? I wish I could make stuff that fast." He nodded to Vittorio,"Ok," He said,"Sleep well."
He listened to most of the stuff between Adair and Alan, and faintly rolled his eyes at Alan showing off about his agility, but it seemed to be a joking gesture. Hawke didn't look like he believed a word of what Adair said when she said she could take herself to bed. Before she even said that he might have to carry her, he had picked her up. He gave a kind of good-bye nod to Alan, then headed off toward Adair's room. Once he was there he carried Adair up to her bedroom, trying not to trip over Elecra, and put her in her bed. He kissed her on the head and said,"Sleep good, Adair."
"No." Xiana said, rather bluntly,"I think they understand it fine, they just do not accept it, and I understand why, sometimes." She sounded troubled, but not about what she was saying. Shortly later, she said,"Something is wrong. Some of my cameras have been disabled," She sounded concerned now,"I am going to investigate." As she said that, her body headed to where the cameras weren't working, but when she got there, Yami and the Galactic Police Officers were already gone.
(Dameon) "I'm glad my daughter has found someone she can be happy with," Dameon said happily. When Alex said something about Elisa being hyper, he said,"You should try living with both her and her mother," jokingly. He seemed like a pretty laid back guy, which made it even more clear that Elisa took after her mom more then her dad. "I bet Hawke would be more then happy to do it, from what I know of him," He said, then frowned at the last part of what Alex said, but he didn't say anything to that.

Vittorio nodded. "Right now I think she is sleeping, so I'll let her sleep. I'll get back to you on that later, okay?" He said, rubbing his head and sighing, before officially disappearing.
Adair Adair still wasn't completely sure if she believed Hawke. She never saw Hawke behave that way, even for Jodelle. But she was too sleepy to care about pushing the issue, and was Adair anyway, so she wasn't much for pushing that in the first place. So she just nodded, and said a quiet, long "Yeah" in response to him asking if she knew what it was like. She did, really. She knew Hawke was extra protective over her then a lot, if not all of the people he knew. Except maybe his immediate squad. It would make sense to be more protective over them.
When Hawke picked her up, she smiled a sleepy smile. As much as she had been trying to be convincing that she could get back to bed herself, she was glad Hawke took care of her like this. Because she knew she wouldn't of actually made it. And she just felt comforted by being taken care of by Hawke, despite the fact she didn't want to overwork Hawke any more then he needed to be overworked. The whole trip to her room she had been rather quiet, and by the time Hawke had put her on the bed and kissed her on the head, it was hard to know if she was even awake. But it was confirmed that she was, when she said, "Goodnight daddy. Be careful". Though, right after she said that, she was clearly asleep, and her breathing slowed down to a steady sleep breathing. It seemed like her sleep at the moment was perfectly peaceful, despite the fact she was worried about nightmares. That may or may not last, though.

Alan nodded to Hawke in a sad way "Indeed, and now they are captured by the Reapers, probably being converted to serve their needs as we speak. It makes me sick to my core." he raised an eyebrow and asked "You really don't see why I would go to a Technocracy, made of scientists, for help as the most advanced artificial construct in known space at the time? It is because I thought they would protect me for my pure scientific value." when Hawke became angry at the idea of AI controlling people Alan looked guilty "Th-that is illegal. They can't do that. They will be purged for it, purged as traitors to the Hegemony. Some of the ones I gave metals to though, they were unimplanted soldiers. Probably more like Dakota than anything." he shook his head again "Your right Hawke, I'm sorry, conscription should not be widely enforced. I will begin mass conscription of my robots though, once we gain my space stations. And before you pretend to assume, no, my people are not all soldiers. We are built for combat because organics, not our own choices." he slammed his foot into the deck "I did my fucking best, I passed laws against them, I prosecuted anyone I caught. Even you are unaware of GPF crimes. You know how many officers I bribed? They became slavers of their fellow officer, gave up your secrets, even handed over ships because I greased their palms. Are you responsible for every single crime committed by your officers? I wouldn't blame you for that." he then smirked slightly "Or is it that commander Hawke is actually racist, thinking I would have such better control of my forces because I am a robot." he actually took a step back again when Hawke listed the people he had personally hurt. He retorted "Jodelle, a spy placed by you. Adair signed consent forms. I have no excuse for the others, but this is war. I had no choice."
"My people are the opposite, we will remember every organic that dies to free our people from the Reapers." Alan said a little distasteful at how selfish organics were, not that his own people weren't selfish, they were just differently selfish. He nodded and said "Hopefully. I anticipate hundreds of billions of my people dying. Our dreadnoughts will fall, and each of them will take millions if not billions to their doom." he shrugged and jokingly said "I already think you have lost it, so I'm no impartial judge." he nodded a little "Two seconds for you yes. AI experience time very differently from you Hawke, we can slow it down at will. That's why we are such good fighters." he nodded to Vittorio.
He kinda nodded to Xiana and sighed saying "We really do need Adair. We both know this. I don't want to deceive Hawke you know. But still, Yami has a much higher chance of being killed if we don't. Both of us know that." his voice had the slightest different tone when speaking to Xiana, respectful, but at the same time like talking to a younger sibling. He nodded to her and said "Very well. I will be organising some Combat Air Patrols for us then." he sat in Hawke's chair and went to work wirelessly.
(Alex) Alex chuckled at Elisa's father, thinking about how hyper they must be together. He then chuckled thinking to himself "She must have been quite the handful as a Kitten." he leaned back a little and nodded "I figured Hawke would." he scratched the back of his collar, on his spacesuit. He then slightly uncomfortably said "I'm, going to go, do some things." getting up to leave again.
(Yami) Yami watched her captors through one almost totally shut eye, due to the other being completely swollen shut. She had blood dripping from her mouth, and one of her ears was hanging by a few strands of skin. She showed clear signs of brutal torture as she was finally granted her wish. Her captors left her for a matter of moments, and that was all she needed, she yanked her wrists out from the chair, having soaked the bonds in blood. She scurried into an air vent, and managed to get to the hanger and grab a small ship, flying directly back to the mothership.
Yami had maybe been gone an hour when she arrived back. She was stumbling and pale from blood lossand thankfully she found Hawke quickly and managed to stumble toward him "Kauhu, interrogation. I told them nothing." her voice was wavering from pain and she collapsed "GPF, officers, they tried to, to beat the info out." she looked at Hawke "I did good right dad? I didn't tell them a work of the data I know."

Hawke frowned slightly, but didn't say anything in reply to the first thing Alan said. "No, I don't. I don't see why you would choose the ones more likely to hurt you over a group that could give you equality, protection, and we have scientists, too. Good ones." He actually gave a slight laugh at Alan saying they couldn't do it. "Well, they've done it. Ask Angel, she knows. She'll also tell you how her ship was raided, her civilian ship, I think, and how she was kidnapped and put into a heavy body of metal," He said all of this with hate and disgust, but it was hard to tell if it was directed at Alan. He blinked at Alan,"I wasn't going to assume all AI were soldiers," He said. He narrowed his eyes,"You're wrong. I am aware of their crimes. I know you've bribed a lot of my people. I also know that having people be bribeable is inevitable. Humans are flawed, there's nothing I can do about that. But with all your talk of superiority, I'm aware of most of what happens with my people, you're not aware of what happens right under your nose. I thought you could think faster, and about multiple things at once. Maybe you have done your best, maybe not. I don't know. I just know that they're not safe, like you say." He tilted his head,"Why would assuming you were better be racist? I would think assuming you were worse would be more racist. Clearly I overestimated your abilities. And before you say anything, YOU'RE the one who's always saying you're better then humans, so if I'm racist, so are you, I would think." He narrowed his eyes,"I didn't place her, she chose to go. And I didn't choose to turn her into a Vika and make her forget everything that was important to her, that was you. As for Adair, she's ten, for gods' sakes! It was YOU who set that up in the first place, there's no excuse. Even if she hadn't signed them, your intent would still have been the same. You do have a choice. You don't have to sacrifice your soul for war. I don't do the f'ed up crap you do, and I'm in this war, too."
Hawke didn't seem to care about Alan seeming distasteful, because he agreed. "Humans are flawed," He said, shrugging. He blinked at Alan,"Way to be positive...." He said, shaking his head slightly. He knew Alan was probably just estimating, but geeze.....Clearly he didn't know about positive thinking. Not that Hawke believed it worked, but hey, it was worth a shot, right? "Maybe I have," Hawke said, and it was really hard to tell if he was joking or not....
"......Honestly, I think the risks that come with taking Adair are worse then the risks of not taking her. No matter your efforts, you can not guarantee that Adair would not be killed, and if she was, imagine what that would do to Hawke. Without Hawke, we both know that this would not go well. We need him," Xiana replied. She also sounded slightly different when talking to Alan, but it sounded more like she felt like she was talking to someone who was more intelligent, but not like in a rude way to Hawke or anything.
(Dameon) Dameon just kind of smiled at Alex until he said he needed to go do things. "Alright. I'll see you around. Let me know if you get a day or time for the weeding," He said cheerily, giving Alex a wave.
(Hawke, an hour later) Hawke was sitting in his room staring at a piece of paper in front of him with a pencil in his hand. He had been trying to relax, just a bit, and draw some of his cartoony drawings, but it wasn't working. Anything he drew was just dark, and he wasn't happy about it. He sighed and put his picture down just as soon as Yami stumbled in. His eyes widened and he darted over to her just in time to catch her as she collapsed. "Damn," He muttered, narrowing his eyes and shaking with anger. He gave her a very gentle hug,"You did very good, Yami," He said, stroking her hair slightly before adjusting her in his arms so he could pick her up. "Do you know what members they were?" He asked. He was acting calm, but inside he was seething. When they joined the Galactic Police Force, they made an oath to protect the people, not torture people who wasn't even their enemy. He was beginning to understand why Leroy saw evil in everyone. Not that he felt that way, he just could understand how with a little insanity, someone could see that. He carried Yami to the infirmary and laid her on one of the beds before sitting down beside her and gently stroking her hair while the doctors did stuff to take care of her or something.

{Since everyone's like, asleep, I'll have Catelyn wake up} Catelyn woke up from the couch she was sleeping on after a few hours of sleep. It wasn't exactly long enough to be entirely pleasing to her lack of sleep recently, but it would have to do for now. She realized that she had been so sleepy, she had fallen asleep with her sword. Not out, obviously. That wouldn't exactly be pleasant. Not that she felt completely safe anyway, even on Hawke's ship, so she was a little on edge and felt safer having her sword near her anyway.
She pushed herself up, stretched, and wondered what she would do at the moment. There wasn't really anything in particular she wanted to do, other then maybe eat. It didn't seem like there was a battle going on right now or anything. So she decided to get to know her surroundings, and she wandered Hawke's ship aimlessly, not really talking to anyone unless they talked to her.

Alan rolled his eyes a little when Hawke seemed to want him to be positive "Billions of organics will probably die too if that makes you feel any better. We will all die in droves, any AI can tell you that. I'm sure Xiana has already calculated, but simply not informed you of that. Hell that's if we even win, which in conventional combat now stands at .00012% of a chance." he chuckled slightly at what he assumed to be Hawke's joke.
Alan sighed slightly to Xiana, feeling a little sick to his stomach about the whole thing "I'm just worried for Yami. We both know that without Adair that we might as well be sending her into a meat grinder. Face first I might add. The robots onboard that 'god' of my sister's will spew gallons of hot plasma at her, and she could easily die. Though I suppose it is better for Yami to die then Adair. Adair would lose us Hawke, whose support must be maintained at all costs. As ruthless as it is to say, Yami is expendable, Adair is not. Hawke agrees, though he would likely never admit it.
(Yami) Yami shook in Hawke's arms from the pain she was in, despite the fact she felt really safe in Hawke's arms. She cried into his chest as she tried to explain through the sobs "One was male, he had a Mars, maybe Suriso accent. The other was Female, she had a Mercurian accent. They both had dark hair, I think, and carried non standard GPF weapons. They carried tri shot rifles manufactured by the Gustav Hydroponics corporation on behalf of the Venusian Technocracy." as crying and sobbing as Yami was, she still knew her guns. She could tell you the make, model, company, and faction of any human weapon, apparently even when tortured, or more likely because of the torture. She curled up on the bed and almost happily said "I didn't kill them, I could have, but I didn't." she looked at Hawke her eyes full of hope "It is only recently I have gotten to the point of not wanting to kill people, and I think it is thanks to you, and your work with me. Thank you, for caring... Dad." she gave him a smile before saying "I don't want to hurt anyone ever again, now that the voices are only whispers." right after she finished a angry person was heard "How dare you deny us medical treatment, do you know who I am?! I am a prime share holder of BPH, and one of my wives was wounded." Baltar was trying to calm the man down "Look sir, we will get your wife a bed as soon as one clears up. We are providing medical services for half the fleet here, so cool it would you?" the man didn't cool it and was 'escorted' out by two Vika soldiers who had been loaned to the infirmary from the Hiveship.
Baltar sighed looking at the ground and scratching his cat like ear, as he walked between the many machines. He looked over a clipboard "Commander Hawke, Yami. What seem-" he stopped abruptly upon seeing Yami "Dear god Yami." he quickly went to work helping her. He frowned as she hissed in pain during his treatment, and said "Sorry. We are completely out of most painkillers, and the rest are being saved for major surgery. The amount of people I have helped today must number in the hundred. You know Lunans aren't given vaccinations? Under Alan's order of all people, we have been giving free vaccinations on every ship, from the Hegemony stores of supplies." he wiped Yami's face down with an alcohol wipe, promoting more hisses, to which he simple said "Sorry." then went back to talking about medical care "You wouldn't believe how many vaccines they have on Kauhu, they have cured things that we haven't even come close to. I mean, for all the inhuman experiments, which I must say have stopped, they did do a mighty fine job of curing things." he frowned at Yami as he realised something "You pupils... Oh crap. The nanites in your blood are offline too." he grabbed Hawke by the shoulder and said "I need a word with you at once." then giving a shifting glance to a bewildered and scared Yami he whispered to Hawke "She is indoctronated." Yami quickly jumped in fear despite her body's protests "I'm not, why would you say that? That isn't funny. Please I'm finally feeling like Adair again. Don't take the Reaper tech away away, it just wants to help me. It quiets the voices. It makes me happy."

"Honestly, Alan, I couldn't care less about your estimations," Hawke replied. "A lot of people will die, I know, but estimations are just guesses to me, even from an AI, and I don't go off of guesses." Despite what Alan seemed to think, Xiana was actually an AI with a sense of being positive. She had done the estimations, but she was hopeful that they would be wrong.
Xiana was quiet for a bit, before saying,"I wonder if one reason Hawke might be so reluctant despite your promises to keep Adair safe is because he doesn't trust you. I do not know this for a fact, but it is a possibility." Xiana let out what sounded like a slightly robotic sigh, then said,"I think in Hawke's mind, no one is just 'expendable', but he knows he can't keep everyone alive."
Hawke frowned very faintly. Yami's description didn't really help him figure out who exactly it might be, there were so many Galactic Police Officers, though there were a lot less now then there used to be. Once he had put Yami down on the bed, he gave her a smile and stroked her hair. "I'm very proud of you," He said. Normally he said that when Yami asked if he was proud of her, and he would say yes. This time he genuinely said it on his own. Not that he didn't mean it when he said it before, it just had more meaning when he said it without being asked. He didn't feel like mentioning that maybe it wouldn't have been to bad if she HAD killed them, but it wasn't like, he was wishing she did, just that he wouldn't feel to bad if she had. He smiled at her when she called him dad. He genuinely felt that he had gained two daughters in Adair and Yami. He felt his chest tighten at the idea of losing either one of them, though the idea of losing Adair was worse the the idea of losing Yami, he didn't want to lose either one of them. "That's good," He said to her, though there was a hint of sadness in his voice. He knew she would have to fight more before this was over. He knew telling Alan that he wouldn't even want to let Yami go on the mission wouldn't go well, and he knew that messing up the plan any more wouldn't be good. He looked over toward the door when he heard someone talking. "I'll be right back," He said to Yami, getting up and going over to the guy before the Vika escorted him away. "Baltar's right. You need to cool it. Trying to force us to give your wife a bed, or just overall saying it's not fair and complaining won't do you or your wife any good. The most you can help her right now is to stay by her side and do your best to take care of her. We can only do our best, and I'm sorry that it's not good enough for you, but we can only do so much. We only have so much space, so many people, and so many supplies," He said to the guy, trying to get him to see sense.
After all that was over, Hawke went back over to Yami and sat on the side of the bed again. He looked over at Baltar when he came over, the moved out of the way so that he could take care of Yami without disturbances from him. He just kind of stood quietly and watched, frowning and thoughtful. He basically just listened to everything up until Baltar grabbed him by the shoulders. "She's what?" He kind of gasped. Not like he didn't believe Baltar, more like he didn't WANT to believe him. He looked between Baltar and Yami,"She's not fully indoctrinated, right? I mean, she doesn't act like it. If we-" He froze when Yami said something about reaper tech. "You....What? Reaper tech? Why....do you have reaper tech?"

Vittorio got to his room, and checked to make sure his sister and Jodelle were asleep, because he wanted them to enjoy the rest as long as they could. After taking care of that and finding out either way, he headed somewhere, and ended up plopping down wherever it was he decided to pick to sleep, and almost fell asleep instantly, though his sleep was rather disturbed. It was sleep, that was all he really cared about at the moment. Even if he didn't sleep for long, it was better then no sleep.
That was exactly what happened, and he woke up after about an hour of sleep. Jodelle and his sister were still asleep at this point, and as soon as he woke up, a thought came to him. He had wanted to go visit Yukiko earlier, to make sure she was okay, and had totally forgot and passed out instead. Instead of getting some more sleep, he decided to go do exactly that, and quietly left the room without disturbing Jodelle and his sister. Or, at least, that's how he hoped it went. He didn't really know, because the door was shut behind him.
On his way to wherever Yukiko was (Infirmary I assume), he passed Catelyn, but they didn't do much other then exchange glances and brief smiles, before he continued onwards, and Catelyn continued onwards with her wandering. It didn't seem like she had much of a goal, and he figured she was probably just walking around to get her mind off things, or just because. Or maybe because she had nothing to do. He didn't know.
Eventually he arrived to Yukiko, and came to her side. "Yukiko, are you alright? I meant to visit you earlier but I fell asleep. I'm sorry, I wanted to make sure you were okay" He said to her, staring at her and not entirely sure what to say or do. He hoped that just being there would make her happier. But during these kind of circumstances, he had a hard time coming up with anything worthwhile to say. It was always a problem he had when visiting people in the hospital, like his grandparents, uncles, and even his own mom when his sister was being born. Though, his mom he could come up with random chit chat to pass the time a lot more easily then he could with pretty much everyone else he had visited in the hospital.

Alan nodded to Xiana thinking it made a lot of sense, he wouldn't expect Hawke to trust him anytime soon. He sighed a little "I wouldn't blame him. I bet some of the extremists of my people will call for me to use our super weapon against organics once the Reapers are gone. If we can really be that stupid, does our species really deserve to survive. Does any species deserve to survive this?" he nodded and said "Yeah, Hawke doesn't think like that, but we Xiana, we are machines. It is our place to be logical. We have to give them new viewpoints, so we can label people as expendable."
The Lunan looked at Hawke when he walked up and said "Commander, I provide Hydrogen for your fleet, I expect some perks from that. Especially when it comes to medical care. She was hurt by those machines you now call allies, so I bet Hegemony soldiers get priority over my wife. I see one of their assassins over there." Baltar interrupted him "That assassin is first of all 13, and second of all, he was injured far worse fighting for Suriso." the Lunan just shook his head and yanked his arms away from the Vika before pushing one into a wall "Get your freaking bug hands off me." and walked away.
Baltar looked a little sad about Yami being indoctronated, and his ears slowly went flat on his head. He sadly said "Under the influence of the Reapers sir. She isn't fully under their control yet. Though that may be due to Hegemony military conditioning. I was thinking, she refers to the 'voices' in her head, they might have drowned out the Reaper voices for a while. If it was Adair, she would probably be husk like by now. I guess the Hegemony saved her life, in a way." Yami looked ashamed when Hawke asked her where she got Reaper tech "I got some new attachments for my wrist guard. Now it talks to the Reaper leader. He wanted me to know, that if I kept it on Adair and you would be left alive by the Reapers. Plus he promised to take the voices away."
Yukiro smiled at Vittorio when he came up to her, setting down a newspaper she was reading. She nodded to him and said "I'm feeling fine Vittorio, thank you for the concern though. It is also fine you fell asleep, is your sister and Jodelle ok as well?" she looked over her newspaper and said "The admiralty has lost around 1,300 ships in the past week, at the cost of only 4 Reaper capital ships. This war isn't going well for Neptune. We may have killed the most Reapers, but we have also lost as many ships as the rest of you put together." she offered her newspaper, written in Japanese Kanji "You want to read it?"

"You are lucky he was even willing to forgive you and let you work with him, even if he may not entirely forgive you for everything," Xiana replied. "I would say that perhaps he is willing to do it because we need your help, and he can see that, but I believe he is willing to forgive you because he is Hawke. I do not think he needs more of a reason then that. I believe that our people, organic or AI deserve to live. Even if it's because of the few people who shed light on an otherwise dark Galaxy. Like Hawke. He's given himself over totally to helping people since he was 15. He's worn himself down to a breaking point helping people and fighting injustice. Fighting you. And even after all of that. All he's had to go through, all the harm that's been done to his friends because of you and the Hegemony, he's still willing to forgive that. It's people like him that make me believe that people deserve to live." After her 'speech', she didn't really have anything else to say in response to the last thing Alan said.
Hawke frowned to the guy,"We are intensely grateful for any help you supply, but we simply can't do more then possible. We can't just swap out a injured hegemony soldier for your wife. I understand completely why you wouldn't like the hegemony, or even hate them. But as much as people don't want to admit it, we need their help. Without their help, more people like your wife will get hurt." He narrowed his eyes at the guy slightly, but said nothing else, until the guy pushed the Vika. He grabbed the guy by the shoulder before he could completely push the Vika,"Hey, cool it," He snapped,"I suggest you calm down before you do something that gets you tossed in a brig, because that won't help anyone, particularly not your wife," He said, watching as the guy walked away.
He frowned to Baltar talking about Yami being indoctrinated. "Is there anything we can do about it, before it's to late?" He asked, frowning and crossing his arms. He looked at Yami when she explained about the reaper tech. He kind of sighed, then said,"You don't know if you can believe this thing, Yami. And even if it does keep it's promise about leaving us alive, we don't know if it still plans on indoctrinating us. If we happen to lose this war, and it keeps it's promise, I don't think I want to be left alive, Yami. I don't want to be one of the only organics left. If we start to win this war, however, I could also see it breaking it's promise if it thought I was a threat to them. This Reaper tech is dangerous, Yami, and if it takes control of you, it could make YOU kill me, and it could still keep it's promise of not killing me."

"They seem okay....I dunno. I worry about both of them. My sister has gone through a lot, and so has Jodelle, but at least she doesn't seem to be aware of it. I mean, she doesn't act so much traumatized, just really confused about who I am, what she is doing here, and so on. They are both asleep right now, though, and hopefully peacefully" Vittorio said, letting out a sigh. As she explained things she read, he sighed again. "This will be a rough war, but I'm sure we will win" He said, trying to sound confident, but it fell rather flat. He shook his head. "Not really, I'm already stressed and worried as is. I don't need to make myself feel any worse" He said, sighing yet again. He ended up just running his hand across his face like he was feeling stressed.

"I don't consider myself that lucky, I will be providing the pride of the Hegemony, Haikala, and Trade Federation navies. Even if Hawke was extremely bitter, he would be a fool to turn down my forces, without them we are far less likely to win this war. Not that he is, but I sport some of the best dreadnoughts in the Galaxy. Even by your people's standards some of my ships are impressive." Alan said with a little shrug, thinking about how many more people could die if it wasn't for his ships. He nodded slowly to Xiana talking about how great Hawke was "Indeed, I quite agree, I admire him greatly for that, if it was my choice I would have thrown the weight of the Hegemony behind him long ago, but war between us and the Haikala would have ruined both of us. However now all past disputes are over, we should actually be thankful for the war, my military buildup ensured that we have way more troops to fight the Reaper with."
The Lunan glared at Hawke with his human eye, narrowing slightly "Luna can and will provide more support then the Hegemony ever will, we built their rulers, we can crush their sentient programs and give you full control of their fighting force. We can give your AI direct control over their units, you wouldn't have to deal with their insane violation of human rights. Like their Phantoms, or even these fucking bugs, made with human DNA." when Hawke stopped him from hurting the Vika "Get your hands off of me! I am a leader of Luna, I have watched my world burn while you rescued Hegemony leaders. My own son died trying to help your troops on Earth, and establish connections with the resistance. Admit that you are more for robots, and these xenos then you do for humanity, and the Sol System!" he then tried to take a swing at Hawke.
Baltar shook his head "Not that I know of, perhaps if we transferred her consciousness to a robotic body we could stop it. Centuri has such a device, and robots seem immune to indoctrination. Otherwise more Hegemony officials would be indocrinated, given how they had Reaper tech before the Reapers arrived. Unless that's why Suriso fell so quickly, if robots can be indocrinated we may have several Hegemony ship captains that are Reaper loyal, how very troubling." Yami frowned at Hawke "I'm sorry, I won't do it again, I will have the Reaper tech removed and destroyed at once. I'm sorry I was so stupid, but the voices, I would have done anything to stop their screaming. The Reaper whispers are much kinder. Hawke, if you don't mind, would you go ask Alan if I will be on the mission to the Colony? Word is spreading through the Hegemony Special Operations Force that I am, but no one talked to me about it."
Yukiro frowned at Vittorio and said "Please pass along my best to the both of them, I hope they recover soon. Especially Jodelle, I saw how those Vika treated her, I wouldn't wish that on anyone." she frowned to him slightly "I become less and less sure we will win this war with each passing day, I really need to stop reading the news, or better yet, start reading the Hegemony news, that is always a lovely read." she reached next to her bed and pulled out a newspaper and read from it "Stay strong loyal citizens of the Hegemony, our enemies are cowards, just yesterday a Reaper was caught in a clear atomic minefield. Their strength is only matched by their overconfident, stay strong, obey orders, and we shall win at any cost." she stopped reading and then smiled and asked "Want to forget the war Vittorio, got this from the Neptunian Yakusa." she offered him a syringe of drugs, futuristic drugs.

"You should consider yourself lucky that he forgave you," Xiana replied,"I didn't mean so much about you being lucky that he accepted you to help, more that he forgave you." She listened to what he said, before cutting him off slightly,"My people's ships? You don't know anything about the people who created me, who I presume you consider 'my people', so you would not know if your ships are impressive to them or not." She mostly just listened to the last of what Alan said, though she did say,"But the war killed a ton of Galactic Police Force soldiers, so it may have made you build up an army, but we've also lost a lot of people who could have been used in this war."
Hawke crossed his arms,"They may be machines, they may be built by Lunans, but you gave them consciousness, you gave them the ability to think. You made the sentient. They're people now, and I will not take that away. Besides, I believe they will be able to fight better if they have their own judgment. I also believe that we ALL need to work together if we want to win this. You may not like the Hegemony, but for now, at least, we need to put our disputes aside, because we have a threat that is larger then all of us right on our doorstep. Even with everyone's help there's still a chance we could lose, so we need everyone together for the best chance, despite how much they hate each other. Why can't people just understand that?" He clenched his hands into fists slightly,"People are freaking dying everywhere! It's not something I can just stop from sheer force of will, and I can only risk losing so many people to rescue so many people. I swear you people will never understand war!" It was clear Hawke was getting annoyed now. When the dude swung at him, he was pinned face first against the wall with his arms behind his back in a flash,"I care for all races equally, though time and time again humanity never fails to disappoint me, but so do pretty much all races. And I still fight for them. All of them. Human, AI or other. Because I believe that they all can do better. Now I suggest you get the hell out of here, right now, to take care of your wife, or go to jail until I have the time to deal with you, which by that time, your wife may be dead. I see only one smart choice in that, and it's the only two you're going to get."
Hawke just kind of frowned in response to everything Baltar said about it. He gave Yami a glance that gave the impression that he was silently asking her what she wanted to do. He gave her a slight smile when she said that she would have the Reaper tech removed. "I'm hope we'll find some way to remove the voices. Maybe Alan knows how," He tried to reassure her."You mean the mission to Onrefni? To Alanna? If so, yeah, he wants you to go on it," He gave a slight sigh. It was clear he didn't want her to go, especially in this condition, but he knew it would probably ruin Alan's plan more then he already had, and he didn't think that was a good thing.

To what Yukiro said, he gave her a simple nod, a bit of a smile, and said "Will do, though I'm not entirely sure Jodelle knows anythings wrong with her". To the part related to needing to stop reading the news, he let out a sigh and said "I hate the news most of the time", but that was all he said on that particular part of the conversation. To what she read, he smiled. "For once I praise the Hegemony for something, being the fact they actually try to give their people hope instead of making it sound like the end of the world for the stupidest of reasons" He said, shaking his head. "And trust me, I've heard that with the news before" He added. At the last part, he raised an eyebrow, confused, giving the syringe a weird look. Then it hit him, and he shook his head. "As much as I'd like to forget the war right now, I need to stay at the top of my game, and being high on drugs would not do me a whole lot of good if I was called in for something, or do so good on my reports for my job" He told her, giving her a bit of a smile. "Thanks for the offer, though" He said to her.

"Ah yes, I suppose that I should be thankful for. You know, it...... feels good to have his forgiveness." Alan said thoughtfully, thinking about emotions and the reactions between his and Xiana's core processing units. He sighed slightly "I met s couple of your creators, and have seen two of your species ships. I take it this ship, given how well armed it is, is equivalent to a human or Haikala dreadnought? Though clearly rebuilt with comfort in mind. Its armour held against a Reaper for god's sake, only one human ship has done that."
The Lunan practically let out a low growl "Fine, but when those damn machines turn on you, like they turned on us, and on that day I hope you remember that we warned you. When the robotic troops after the Reapers are gone demand 'surrender, or die' what will you say Hawke? Huh? We can't make and raise children faster then they can produce new troops. We can't produce ships faster then them, and our EMP weaponry is being used on the Reaper menace. We won't even have overwhelming military advantage, as we traditionally have had. They will out produce us, and the blood of humanity will be on your hands." he gritted his teeth and let out an annoyed growl again "Well you should have focused on humanity first then Hawke. Let the robots face the Reapers alone, we deserve some payback for what they did to us." the Lunan gave Hawke a glare "If you don't field humanity over all others, then you should be able to suffice without human fuel supplies." he then wirelessly hooked his suit comms to his feet "All BPH ships spool our jump drives for the VY system, we will meet with our remaining ships and hold out there for as long as we need to. Make sure the agro ships get priority jump clearance." he then switched to another comm channel "Tell our troops what is happening, any troops wishing to stay, they may." the comms strangely silent and the Oligarch demanded "What is this? The Duchy of Pluto? Are you going to steal my ships for 'the good of all?"
Yami smiled slightly at Hawke "Thank you, I hope we can make them stop too. They tell me to kill you all the time." she frowned as Hawke said she was part of that mission, and said "Oh" in a way that clearly reflected her not wanting to hurt anyone else. She choked up thinking that every husk she had killed had sad parents and siblings, just like she would in that situation. She hesitantly asked "What part will I be playing? Please don't make me go on that station, my friends could be there, controlled by the Reapers."
Yukiro smiled slightly when Vittorio prased the Hegemony "Well our news reports were never overly truthful, the objective of Hegemony news is to deliver propaganda, and propaganda is always uplifting. To tell you the truth, there was no Reaper destroyed by the Hegemony, but as one propaganda specialist told me once 'We don't write news for you, we write it for the war weary soldier, or the child waiting for their parents, or the old couple, hoping their army wins.' the radio broadcasts are always lovely from the Hegemony." she got out of her bed, leaving her signed forms for the doctors "I don't need to be in this bed, combine GPF-Venusian medicine is amazing." she then put an arm around him, and took him back toward temporary housing she had been given. On the way she smiled at him and said "Please try the drug, it is very special, and I purchased it for you. It doesn't exactly get you high, but what it does do is allow you temporary access to a part of your blood that me and Alma naturally have control of. It was made by the Hegemony, to give to super soldiers, but it turns out they couldn't do any type of combat activity with it, so they sold the drug compounds to the Yakusa. It makes neat party tricks."
