Alan nodded to the other two people, he was trying to peace everything together, maybe they had a friend here after all, maybe like a lighthouse keeper. Maybe this was a science outpost, studying weather, maybe the Nazis built it during the war as a torpedo platform and the crew never learned the war was over. He shook his head and tried to clear his thoughts, he just needed to deal with things one step at a time, like his mother always told him to, and she would certainly know.
Once they were both on a Bathosphere he pulled the lever, and the sphere began to descend into the water. And a screen moved in front of the them, starting to play a welcome message, but the screen fell down so it was audio only. The audio said "I am Andrew Ryan, and I'm here to ask you a question. Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow? 'No!' says the man in Washington, 'It belongs to the poor.' 'No!' says the man in the Vatican, 'It belongs to God.' 'No!' says the man in Moscow, 'It belongs to everyone.' I rejected those answers; instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose... Rapture, a city where the artist would not fear the censor, where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality, Where the great would not be constrained by the small! And with the sweat of your brow, Rapture can become your city as well." as he spoke they defended through blackness until they suddenly saw the bright lights of the city, it had taken only a few minutes to descend to the ocean floor. Alan started blankly at the city and started laughing suddenly, then said "Oh, I'm dreaming aren't I, I must be, there is no way." as he finished another voice came over the comms, though this was the feminine voice of Dr. Sophia Lamb "For every choice, there is an echo. For each decision we change the world. One man chose a city free of law and God, but others chose corruption, and so the city fell." basically informing them what had happened to the city. Alan pointed to buildings that had fallen over, and ones that were flooded "Look, most of the city is in ruins, God, what happened to these people? Think the Reds attacked? Or the Nazis? I have no idea how old this city is, but maybe a U-boat could hit them."
As they entered the city itself the radio buzzed to life with the voice of a teenage girl telling them "Hey, hey you guys, in the Sphere, my name is Alex I am one of the few citizens left in this city that are still sane. Look, I am docking you guys near the Atlantic Express station. I am going to send you a couple of sentry bots to protect you. Do you have a gun? I will send you ammo if you do."

Since there wasn't really anything else to say about the door, he didn't say anything.
Beric noticed Coraline looked like she was on the verge of crying, and he looked sad, and concerned, but didn't ask her about it because he didn't really want to trouble her. To what she said to him in response to the name thing, he just nodded in understanding, and that was about it.
When it started to descend, he had to keep himself balanced, because it caught him off guard, for whatever reason. As soon as the screen popped up, he raised an eyebrow, seeming rather confused at it. Then, it started to give them a message, which he just listened to. "What in the hell?" He said once the message was done, seeming completely confused by what the freaking hell was going on here. Then, suddenly a city came into view, and he really was a mixture of amazed, freaked out, and confused how it was possible. "I don't know maan....it feels way too real" He said, blinking and shaking his head. He then just listened to the next message, and still seemed to be like "What in the hell?", but didn't say anything. "Oh great....we're headed to a city that's broken and flooding" He said with a sigh. He shrugged. "Or maybe people just damaged the glass, or it cracked. I mean really? It seems pretty insane that they made the glass withstand all that pressure in the first place" He said, sighing.
Once they entered the city, he seemed to still be in some sort of weird shock of what was going on, and he was also getting more scared. "Of course we are stuck here, because up is dangerous..." He said, shaking his head. Then, he heard a voice of a teenaged girl pop on, because apparently everyone was contacting them or something. "The what?" He asked, referring to the Atlantic Express Station, because he knew nothing about this city. "We have one gun, but that's it..." He said, looking around at the others in a nervous way.

Coraline had been ready for the Bathosphere to start moving, so she didn't have much problem with balance. She also raised an eyebrow when the screen popped up, even more so when the voice started talking. She just kind of looked at the others in a W.T.F way when the message ended. When the City came in to view, she just kind of stared. "I've always had an open mind to believe the 'impossible' is not always impossible....but this..." She trailed off, shaking her head. She also just kind of listened to the next message it a WTF kind of way. "Maybe it just fell apart," She murmured, her voice almost dreamy. Clearly she thought the city was beautiful, and it was sad that it could become such a ruin, rather by neglect, or by an attack.
Coraline started looking nervous when they entered the city, and jumped slightly when the teenage girl started talking. She nodded to what Beric said, then cleared her throat and said,"We have a revolver." Obviously she said it in to a radio or something if that was needed for them to be heard.

Alan looked at the other two after the message, and said "That glass would have to take a rocket launcher to be able to take the pressure of this depth. There is no way it could just accidently be broken, it had to be intentional unless they were using artillery shells or torpedos." he didn't really comment otherwise because of the transmission.
The girl called back "Atlantic Express, it is an old train station, it isn't too dangerous. Only a few thugs and leadheads." there was the sound of someone choking on their own blood as it welled up into their throat, and the girl gave a grunt and said "Stupid Adam loving freaks." then returned to talking to them calmly "I set a care package out for you, once you arrive open it, I can't stay around, I'm sure a couple idiots will come after me, and I don't want to put you in any danger." there was another voice, sounding British "Awwww, look at you little girl, all grown up." followed by machine gun fire. There was then a male scream and the sound of something burning, but the girl said nothing else.
As the Bathosphere rose they would see a splicer female opening their care package and taking out her own pistol, loading it with their ammo. She then ran toward a little sister with her revolver at the ready. Alan lurched toward the glass and yelled "No, not a little girl!" right before the woman was grabbed by a slender female figure in armour and impaled. The armoured figure then picked up the little girl and put her in the basket on her back, running off quickly. Alan stood dumbfounded about what he just saw as the radio chimed "That's big sister, don't mess with big sister, she guards the little ones." Alex's voice was mixed with a slight panting, like she was running but in really good shape.

Beric nodded to Coraline about having an open mind, because so did he. But this was hard to believe to be true....though it obviously was, since he was looking at the freaking thing. He let out a sigh at what Alan said, and shook his head. "Well, that's totally comforting" He said in a sarcastic way at the fact that it would of had to of been hit by something powerful to break, to be able to take this pressure. What the hell was going on in this city then? He decided he didn't really want to know. What he did know was that, despite it's damages, the city was still beautiful. And from the sound of Coraline's voice, she thought the same thing.
Suddenly his expression changed at what the girl said. "Wait what? Only a few thugs and leadheads? There's thugs and leadheads in this place? Great! Talk about my luck" He said, shaking his head and letting out a sigh. "I mean, our luck" He said to Alan and Coraline. Hearing the noise, he looked alarmed and raised an eyebrow. "What the hell?" He said more to himself then anyone else. Hearing what the girl said, he gave a simple "Okay, thanks" in response to her. Then, to the next noise, he seemed alarmed again. Especially the male scream and the sound of something burning. He turned to Alan and Coraline, then said "What the hell is going on here?", and now looking officially terrified.
"What in the hell?" Beric said to himself when he saw the splicer female, because it looked like a strange person. At least, they were acting strange. And from the looks of it, was stealing their ammo. Then, the strange-acting girl ran after a little child, and he looked alarmed. Following that, suddenly this weird slender female figure picked up the attacker, and well....impaled her, to which he looked away for a moment because he didn't really care to see that. He looked back in time to see the little girl put into a basket, and his response was to blink and look like he was practically in shock. "That sounds like a good idea......" He said back to Alex. He then looked back to the others again. "What the hell?! This is insane! What have we stepped into?" He asked, just seeming shocked, scared, and panicking, though trying hard to keep himself calm.

Coraline frowned and fiddled with her gun at the mention of thugs and whatnot. She looked alarmed at the sounds, but continued to remain quiet. She shrugged to Beric,"I'm not sure I want to know," She said in response to him asking what the hell was going on. She was starting to look more nervous, but she seemed like she was trying to remain calm.
She just kind of stared at the slightly mutated person stealing their ammo. She looked like she was about to try to intervene when the ugly girl started attacking the little kid, but ended up just staring, wide-eyed, as some female is a weird diving suit type thing saved the kid. She shook her head to Beric,"I have no clue....We should get our Ammo before another freak comes to steal it."

The Bathosphere opened slowly by itself, and Alan nodded to Caroline then stood a very stiff step out of the bathosphere. He slowly walked to the ammo box and pulled a couple of cylinders out of it, there were only three left, two anti personal, and an anti armour. He waved Caroline over and handed her the ammo, and once Beric walked out of the bathosphere it closed and retreated into the water. Then a spider splicer dropped down from the ceiling and asked "Is it someone new?" in a very creepy way. She slowly walked toward them with two big old fish hooks, her skin was covered in boils and swollen areas of skin. She looked at them and said "I bet ya still have some Adam on ya." apparently not figuring that they never used plasmids, therefore would have no Adam. She then made a lunge for them, holding both fish hooks ready to cut them open, when she suddenly burst into flames. She screamed and tried to roll around to put it out, but it just kept restarting. She was desperately trying to put out the flames for ten minutes before she finally stopped wiggling and died. A teen girl stood there, fire running up and down her arms, she gave a flick of her wrist and the flames stopped. She walked over to them, she was taller than any of them, by a few inches, and was very wiry. She looked at them with dark brown eyes that seemed to glow slightly and said "I'm Alex, from the Radio. You are safe with me, even against the toughest splicers." she then heard a low thump like heavy footsteps and said "Mr. Bubbles" then looked at the others "That's what the gatherors call them anyway, I believe the splicers call them Big Daddies." she looked around "Come with me to my apartment, now." there was no arguing with what she said, it was very commanding.
Alex moved ahead, watching carefully around corners and through passageways. She carried no weapons with her, relying on her plasmids to protect her, though she oddly carried no EVE hypos to replenish her plasmids. She stopped abruptly at one passageway as there was a low whale like call. She put her fingers to her lips, making sure they were quiet. Then a Big Daddy walked past, his drill slowly turning as he did. A little boy ran in front of him with a big needle and said "Come on Papa, we have to gather from the angels." the Little Brother spoke in a British accent, smiling and looking at the dead corpses. Alex then hurried around the corner quietly and quietly told them "Little Brothers, they are not as good as little sisters, but these are desperate times." she had no idea she probably made no sense to them, but at the same time she would probably look at them crazy is they mentioned things like trees or grass, or rocks. She then added "We are almost there."
After around five minutes of pretty fast running they arrived at a doorway with a camera on the top of the frame. Alex quickly threw a ball of plasma goop onto each of them, so her security systems wouldn't freak out and kill them. She then pulled them inside the door and locked it. Inside were six turrets, four machine gun, and two rocket with a door in the middle of this deathtrap for splicers. She also had a full squadron of security drones ready to launch at a moment's notice to protect her home. She lead them inside the second pair of doors into her private apartment, which was pretty space. There was a bed in the corner, a stove, a bathroom in the corner, but there were two things both really important to Alex, one was her huge wall window which showed the city. The other was a bookcase filled with all kinds of books, because there wasn't much else to do but kill, watch the ocean, or read. This was the first time she really had good light over her entire body, and one could see that despite her plasmid use she had perfect skin, and no scars. The only thing different about her other than tallness and slightly glowing eyes was a puffy gut, like she could be pregnant or something.

Beric just followed Alan to the ammo box, and watched him empty it out. As soon as the bathosphere retreated into the water, he jumped and gasped, because he was a little on edge right now. So it didn't take much to scare him right now. He let out a sigh of relief when it was nothing, until a splicer dropped down near them. He did a half-assed manly scream, and jumped to face the splicer. As it approached them while looking creepy as hell, and making creepy sounds, he slowly backed up, not sure what to do, other then get ready to tell Coraline to shoot. But before he said anything, 'it' spoke again, and lunged at them. He let out another scream, but thankfully it caught on fire before they died. How, he wasn't immediately sure. And he knew hearing those screams of people burning would probably haunt him. Then, he saw a girl with her arms.....on fire? He was about to be alarmed, until she didn't seem to react at all. He just nodded to her, not sure what to think. "Um....about the fact you were uh...on fire" Was pretty much all he said. Hearing the heavy footsteps made him gasp again, and he just listened to what she said, then followed her without any complaints at all.
As soon as she abruptly stopped while he was following Alex, he stopped too, because he wasn't about ready to continue on without her. And he knew that she knew this place much better then him, so there was that too. Since he wasn't the smartest though, he was about ready to ask 'What?', until he saw her telling them to stay quiet. Instead, he stepped backwards more. Seeing the big daddy so close made him quickly cover his mouth so he didn't make himself obvious, and so he covered up his gasp. The kid was the least of his worries. He simply followed her, ignoring what the kid was blabbering about, and nodded to what she said. He really didn't have anything in particular to say.
The 5 minutes of pretty fast running was really wearing him out. He started having issues pretty quickly as it was, but the 5 minutes was killing him. As soon as they got near the doorway and slowed down, he stopped and leaned over to catch his breath. He pretty much was literally pulled into the room, because of him catching his breath. "This....place....is crazy...." He said while breathing heavily, in response to the whole Rapture in general. Looking around the room, he just blinked. "Interesting place" He said, though there was a strange tone to his voice when he said it. Now, he followed her into her actual apartment. Apparently she had a nutty security system. Looking around the room, he nodded, seeming impressed. "Too bad this place sucks. I'd totally want to live here. That view out the window is amazing" He commented. Now, he looked at her, to get a better look at her, and vaguely wondered how she avoided getting any scars, but didn't ask her out loud. He managed not to notice her being possibly 'pregnant', or just didn't even think anything of it, though. Even with the last things he said, he still sounded like he was catching his breath.

Coraline walked over to the ammo box with Alan and Beric, taking the ammo Alan handed her, then carefully went and got the ammo the Splicer had taken, as well as her gun before heading back to the others. She let out a yelp when the Spider Splicer fell from the roof. She raised her revolver and was about to shoot when the splicer caught on fire for no apparent reason. She just kind of stared, wide-eyed, as the Splicer died. Her gaze then moved to Alex, and again she just kind of stared. "Nice to meet you, Alex," She said in a kind of faint, WTF voice. She didn't really respond to what Alex said about the Big Daddy, because she was to busy wondering WTF was going on.
She followed Alex quickly, nearly plowing in to her when she stopped abruptly. She looked like she had no intention of making a sound even before Alex put her finger to her mouth. She moved so she would be harder to see and watched the Big Daddy go by, seeming surprisingly calm. On the outside, anyway. Once Alex started moving again, she continued to follow.
She was in better shape then Beric, but she was still getting worn out from all that running. She didn't need to be pulled inside, as she was already heading inside. She just kind of looked around until she saw the window. "Whoa," She muttered, then nodded to what Beric said. "Why did this place have to go to hell? Or whatever happened." She also wondered how Alex managed not to have any scars, and thought that she was maybe kind of cute, but she discarded those thoughts. This was so not the time for that. She also didn't pay attention to Alex's slightly puffy gut.

Alex looked around her room and asked "How does this place suck? I'm sure life on the surface is much worse, if what Mr. Ryan said about it was right." she heard scraping hooks then flicked a couple of switches and a full squadron of Security bots floated outside to engage. The door sealed and she put on a record, drowning out the screams and gunfire with nice classical music. She could still hear them, and reverse, it is just that instead of gunfire you heard nice music in the background. She looked at the girl, and said "It was civil war, caused by." her eyes widened as she fell to her knees and threw up a little, then retrieved the sticky, red, glowing fluid from the floor. She held it between two fingers, letting the light from the window refract off of it, showing it to the two in front of her and telling them "Adam they called it, alters your genetics, fixes damaged cells, and can even give you powers beyond normal humans." she flicked her wrist then pointed it toward a puddle a good distance away from them, then suddenly channeled millions of volts into the puddle., making very visible lightning. She stopped after a moment then sighed slightly "I have a lot of these powers, and I can protect you through rapture." she walked over to a cabinet and pulled out a large red vial "Here, this is called Electro bolt, each of you take a good dose, and stab it into your arm? Ok?"as she handed it to them she asked "Where is your friend?" suddenly realising he wasn't in the apartment, she looked around, then shrugged and said "Probably wondered outside and got machine gunned down by my security. Shame."it was clear she didn't give a single fuck about his life. Death and murder were ways of life in Rapture, and she was certainly not soft, she had a belly full of Adam and had to protect it.

"Uh, I dunno. Maybe the fact it's falling apart, the cities invaded by those...things, and whatever the hell else I saw while coming here" Beric said, letting out a sigh of relief to just be same from everything for the time being. "Places on the surface may be worse, but overall I would say it's better then how this place is right now. Maybe not when this city was at it's best, but I would much rather be home right now then here" He said to Alex. He just watched everything that happened next, trying hard to avoid hearing the sounds and focusing onto the music instead. He looked concerned when she started to throw up though, and alarmed when she threw up this weird sticky ready fluid. "Powers..." He muttered. "This day is getting weirder and weirder, and less realistic by the minute" He muttered, probably not making much sense to Alex. Seeing her shoot the volts of electricity at the puddle made hum jump, and look even more alarmed. "I am going to assume you throwing up is a side effect of having these abilities" He said to her, still seeming all confused by the powers and such. When she told them to inject themselves with that red vial thing, he shook his head and backed off, letting Coraline use it. "I'm not injecting that shit into my system" He stated, putting his hands into the air. "You go ahead if you want Ca-Coraline, but I would rather not inject myself with this weird substance" He said.

Coraline listened to the stuff between Alex and Beric. She was fairly sure that life down here was worse then on the surface, but she didn't say that. At least on the surface you didn't have to fight for your life like, daily, or have a constant risk of the place caving under the pressure and crushing you. She tried her best to ignore the sounds of screams and whatnot, and did a surprisingly good job at it. She looked alarmed when Alex threw up, but then just kind of went wide-eyed at the Adam stuff. She nodded to what Beric said,"It feels like a dream..." She said, then shook her head. She continued to stare as Alex electrocuted a puddle, though she seemed calmer, or at least more of a frozen kind of WTF, then Beric was. She hesitantly took the plasmid whatsit thing and looked at it. After a bit of staring, she injected it into her arm. It wasn't long before she dropped the plasmid thing and stumbled back, letting out a slight squeak/whimper. She started trembling slightly and fell on her knees, apparently in pain. Because of this, she didn't respond to what Alex said about Alan. After a bit she seemed to have recovered, and said,"Ow...." kind of quietly.
(I did her response to the plasmid based on what I remember from Bioshock. If you think I should change anything about it, tell me.)
