Atlantic Ocean, unknown location Alan dragged himself out of the ocean, clinging to the stairs for dear life. He watched the end of the ship slowly falling into the water, almost gracefully. He looked around, taking in what he saw, there was a lighthouse there, he didn't know too much about lighthouses, but he knew they weren't supposed to be in the middle of the ocean. He slowly climbed toward it, looking around, he noticed two others trying to get on the tiny island he was on, but they seemed to be managing so he declined to offer assistance. He walked toward the doors, and saw a person in what looked like diving gear standing off to the side. He looked fearfully at the young woman, probably not older than him, noticing the bright red glow from her helmet. She looked at him a moment then propelled herself backwards in a flip into the water, swimming down toward Rapture again.
After a minute or two he was finally able to unfreeze himself, though he kinda assumed she was a hallucination or something, because it was just too weird for him. He slowly walked toward the doors and pushed on them, allowing them to open to a dark room. Sure he was freezing, and the wind made it much worse, but we wasn't about to be the first one in the dark room there.

Beric didn't know exactly what had happened, just that they were sinking for some reason, and fast. At the time of the sinking, he had been somewhere else, away from his parents. All he could do was hope they would get out. Through the mayhem, it was hard to even know what was going on. His first reaction was to get off of the ship as quickly as possible. Hoping for the best, he had jumped into the water with some device to help him float. Well, some object that he had used to help him float. It wasn't working the greatest, and he was struggling to make it to shore. He saw a few others heading there too, but there wasn't really much he could do, because he wasn't a strong swimmer.
Eventually, he got to shore, and struggled to get up and onto the stairs. With all the water coming in and out, it was very hard for him to actually grab onto the steps properly and pull himself out of the water, telling himself that he would not die by the steps. But eventually, after quite a little while, he managed to get himself out. Not being a strong swimmer wasn't helping him any. He started to cough and sputter, barely noticing someone already on shore. All he knew was that one person he could see was still in the water, and he reached out his hand to her to help her get out, if she needed.
"Grab my hand and I will pull you out! It's easier said then done to get out of the water!" Beric shouted into the raging water, back to the girl. If nobody else managed to survive, the least he could do was save one person, and not just let them drown. He feared the worst for his parents and the others, since he could not see anybody else floating up and swimming over. Right now, he tried to block out the negatives, and focus his strength on getting the girl out and surviving, and leaving the emotional breakdown stuff for later.

As Coraline reached the Lighthouse steps, she noticed a guy there offering to help her out. She took his hand and with his help managed to get out of the water. She was panting slightly, but from how little she was panting, or coughing, it seemed like she was probably a pretty good swimmer. "Thanks," She said in a shaky voice, looked out over the water. It was hard to tell, but it looked like she might have tears running down her face. "So many people..." She whispered, then looked at the guy who had pulled her out of the water. "There was something in the water, pulling them down! Th-they got...." She trailed off, sobbing quietly.
She then took a deep breath to calm herself, and looked around. Why was there a huge lighthouse in the middle of the ocean? She then noticed another guy up by the doors, but she hadn't seen the creepy girl in the giving suit. "Is it just the three of us?" She asked, her voice kind of faint. She noticed with surprise that, as far as she could tell, she was the oldest person here. She shivered and went over to the guy who had just opened the doors. "It's kind of...eerie...." She said,"Are you sure we should go in?"

Alan stood there at the doors, thinking to himself, and muttering "Gone, all gone, torpedos, but why? And who?" he snapped out of his half trance as a girl a little older came over next to him. He pointed toward the darkness and said "If we are going to have a chance at survival we need to go inside, or the wind chill will kill us alone." he shook his head slightly and said "But as my mother said 'Trouble never comes alone' god Russians are pessimists." he seemed to be one of those people who could live through a disaster, be fine, but a few months later have a total breakdown. He shook his head slowly and walked forward, then covered his eyes as huge blinding light hit him square in the face. His eyes took a moment to adjust, but then he read the banner in front of him outloud "No Gods or Kings, only man." his face went from cautious and scared to really freaked the fuck out, and yes that is a look.

"No problem" Beric said, letting out another cough himself, and panting pretty heavily from all the hard swimming. He had never managed to swim across a pool, yet alone a tiny speck of the ocean. To what she said, he frowned. Right now, his adrenaline was still keeping the emotions back, but hearing her made him upset, and he had to fight back the urge to cry. If there was one thing he had always been terrible at, it was comforting girls. Or others, in general.
So he just watched her, until he snapped his attention to the lighthouse....in the middle of the god damn ocean? "I think so....." He said in a somber tone, because it was really sucky that they were the only 3 survivor's. He got up, and went over to the other dude by the door. He shivered as well, due to the breeze being rather torturous on the already soaking wet skin and clothes. To them talking about going in, he just listened, and he swore he shivered due to the darkness inside the place and not the cold outside. To him quoting his mother, he raised an eyebrow, but said nothing. "Aaaahhh! What's that light?!" He shouted. Which, he probably had to shout over the roar of the sea anyway. The banner that he read he saw too, and he raised an eyebrow, then went to his own freaked the fuck out look. "What the fuck does that mean?" He asked the others as if they'd know. "I don't like this one bit..." He muttered.

Coraline nodded to Alan and rubbed her arms, "I guess we go in, then," She said, sounding slightly intimidated. "Thanks for the reassurance," She said sarcastically when Alan quoted his mom. She let out a slight squeak when the bright light came, then blinked in recovery. She looked less freaked out then the two boys, and tilted her head, crossing her arms. " 'No go or kings, only man'? Sounds like someone doesn't like the idea of someone with more power then them, or something." She rubbed her arms again an hunched her shoulders, shivering. "We need a way to get warm, and dry."

Alan cautiously looked around as the doors slammed shut behind them, trapping them inside. He glared at the door, then shook his head muttering "No, not one bit of pleasure in this." then walked toward the stairs, slowly looking at the others "Creepy, but we could die up here, I would much rather take my chanced going deeper into the building then I would just laying down and freezing to death." he then turned back to the stairs, slowly walking down them, looking back and forth cautiously. He shook his head slightly and called to them "There is a bathosphere guys, I mean, I think that is what it is."

"Seems possible" Beric said to the girl, who he had yet to get the name of. Which made sense, since they had bigger priorities then "I just pulled you out of freezing cold raging ocean waters! What's your name?". Getting somewhere to keep warm and dry off was a little more important. "Which wouldn't surprise me in the slightest" He continued.
By the time he could really have any other reactions, the doors slammed behind them, to which he reacted by jumping in a start and facing the door, also letting out a gasp of surprise. "Holy shit! Any time doors are mysteriously shutting is not a good thing! It's like something out of a god damn horror movie!" He shouted, seeming very startled and on edge now. He followed the guy who pretty much ended up as the leader, who seemed a little strange. He nodded in agreement to what he said, then addressed the next part a while after they went down some of the stairs. "A what?" He replied to the boy saying a bathosphere. He had no idea what that was.

When the doors shut behind them, Coraline jumped and spun to face the doors, but quickly relaxed. She didn't really respond to Alan, but looked at Beric like he was slightly insane. "So, when you enter a store and the door closes behind you, it's not a good thing?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. Apparently she was kind of a smart-ass. He did kinda overreact, though. She also followed Alan down the stairs. When he said there was a bathosphere, her response was pretty much the same as Beric's. "What's a Bathosphere?" She asked, rubbing her arms. "Also, what are your names?" She knew there were more important stuff going on, but if she had to say something to one of them, or shout for one of them, she didn't want to have to say like 'Hey! you, with the orange hair!' or something.

Alan briefly glanced over his shoulder and said "He said in a mysterious way, so I doubt store doors count as that." he shook his head a little and said "Um, they are like submarines, but spheres, which means they are not exceptional at moving around without help. I suspect it leads to a cave or something under the ocean, I mean, what else would really make sense?" he let out a humourless laugh at the last thing he said, sounding a little worried about that idea. He glanced at the girl and said "I'm Alan Romanov." figuring that was more prudent to the situation because he had established his mother to be Russian. He started looking around the bathosphere, then said "Oh, check this out." finding a suitcase. He opened it and said "Hmmm, looks like male and female clothes, how odd. Here, male for you, female for you, male for me." handing them each a dry outfit. He continued to look through the case and said "What the Hell is this?" pulling out an Accu-Vox tape recorder, it was empty, and he just shrugged, putting it to one side. He then said "G-guys." and set a revolver next to the case, along with a box of ammo. He shook his head, because that was the bottom of the case, and otherwise the bathosphere was empty, well other than a radio.

Beric gave Coraline a strange look, then nodded to what Alan said. "Yeah, what he said. Store doors don't close in mysterious ways" He said, but quickly got distracted with other stuff to really care about continuing that particular conversation.
To his description of the bathosphere's, and what he said afterwards, he simply shrugged, not really knowing how to respond. "Beric Naharis" He said to what the girl said. "How about yours?" He asked back to Coraline, even if, yes, it was a strange time to ask each others names. To Alan's name, he nodded, and said, "Cool name". He raised an eyebrow. "Mysterious suitcase in a mysterious lighthouse in the middle of an ocean after we crashed, and what Coraline mentioned earlier about people being dragged under the water by..whatever she said. This is getting weirder and weirder...." He said, shaking his head, then listening to what Alan said about what was in it. "What, so this mysterious place expected us now?" He asked, raising an eyebrow and taking the clothes, then seeming not sure where to actually change. To the tape recorder, he also raised an eyebrow, and just shrugged. Then, the gun just made things weirder...and scarier. "What in the hell is there a tape recorder, clothes that's a perfect fit for all of us, and for each of us, and a gun with ammo doing in a suitcase sitting in a bathosphere?" He asked as if any of them would have a freaking clue. His response was pretty much just to shake his head, and he went over and inspected the radio to get his mind off the weirdness....unaware that the radio was likely to trigger more weirdness.

"And what's mysterious about those doors closing?" Coraline countered, though she was just pointing it out, not arguing or anything.
At Alan's explanation of what a bathosphere was, she kind of just nodded. She shrugged when he asked what else would make sense, and pointed out,"Nothing makes sense about a lighthouse like this in the middle of the ocean, so I'm not sure if it matters if it makes sense or not." She smiled slightly to Alan and Beric. "I'm Coraline. It's nice to meet you Beric, Alan. And I'm just going to get this out of the way now. It's CORA-line. Not Care-ah-line," She said it in a joking way, pretty much saying that a lot of people got her name wrong, but showing that she didn't really care a ton. She took the clothes and just kind of looked on in silence, before going to find a nice dark shadow to change her clothes in. Once she was done with that, she came back over. She looked at the revolver and picked it up, "Maybe we should take it with us, wherever we plan on going. My....friend....got dragged under by something, I would rather not find out what it is unarmed. "So...What now?" She asked. She seemed to be the best at keeping a cool head. At least on the outside.

Alan glanced up at Beric and said "I was pulled under by one of those things too, until my mom unloaded her Torkov into it. It was a red light, but I swear it was on the body of a teenage girl, Gah, my mind must be playing tricks on me." he raised an eyebrow at him and asked "Um, they seem to be one size fits all style clothing, I mean as far as weirdness goes I would say a lighthouse where no lighthouse should be, and torpedos coming out of nowhere are bigger concerns than clothes." he nodded to the female of the group and said "Nice to meet you, and I would assume you pronounced it the right way, I mean we are listening to you after all, it isn't like you wrote your name out." he handed her the box of bullets and said "If you can shoot well, be my guest. I mean it isn't like having a gun could hurt at this point." he quickly rushed up the stairs and changed then walked back down, straitening the nice trench coat that came with it.
Right after he returned there was a loud bang and voiced "Come on Lads, blow it down, blow down the doors." and another bang. Alan quickly grabbed the tape recorder and said "I take that as a sign that we may have outstayed our welcome. Come on, I will take that bathosphere over whoever is trying to blow their why in." he stood by the lever to lower it and said "In or out, right now." sounding rather terrified.

"That they seemed to shut for no reason after we went in? Maybe it was the wind, I don't know...." Beric said to the girl shrugging and moving on.
He listened to some of what was being said, but didn't say anything back. To what Alan said, he frowned, and shook his head. This whole situation was freaky ass hell, and he really didn't like it. Strange things pulling people under, a mysterious lighthouse....He laughed at what Alan said. "That may be true, but it's still weird there's clothes set out like we were expected" He said. To what the girl said, he smiled. "Cool name" He said while smiling at her, then chuckled, "I'm going to assume you have had problems with people pronouncing your name before". He went and changed his own clothes in the same dark shadow Coraline had just been at, and came back after their discussion of guns. To what Coraline said, he just shrugged.
Then, when Alan was back, there was a loud bang. Which, his first reaction was to jump, and looked in the direction of the loud bang, clearly looking scared because now people were trying to blow up doors. "I think I will have to agree with you...." He said, shaking his head and pacing around nervously. Apparently he had got distracted from the radio. "I'm staying" He said to Alan, really not sure if he liked any of the options they had at this point.

"You know, some doors are just made to close when they get opened. Like, the store doors that you push open close behind you, and some just drive closed because of gravity," Coraline said with a shrug.
"I saw a red light, but that's it," She said, shaking her head and frowning. She looked like she might be about to cry, but managed to hold it together. She just kind of listened quietly until Alan spoke to her about her name, then shrugged, nodding to Beric,"I've had people say my name wrong even after I told them it, so I was just getting that part out of the way," She said. She took the ammo, managing to squeeze it in to her annoyingly small girl pockets (Yes, girl pants have smaller pockets then boy's) and put the gun in the back of her pants, for lack of anywhere better to put it.
She jumped and let out a gasp when someone started blowing up the door or whatever, specially sense she knew it couldn't be anyone good. She nodded to Alan and Beric then hopped in the Bathosphere, waiting for Beric to get in after her.
